LOL. No I didnt think you were being negative about it at all. I was agreeing with you that there was a lot of positive empowerment in thinking the way that you do. There's nothing naive about your thought process at all.. its a deliberate choice to think that way, not a cop out in the least.

I'm extremely happy for that one family showing up at Schiphol Airport yesterday, only to find out their flight was overbooked and they had to take a detour via Dubai to Kuala Lumpur.

Oh Peet, I didn't hear that! Wow! That reminds me of a friend who went to Newark Airport on 9/11 and changed his flight but did not tell his wife. The plane he was originally scheduled to be on was hijacked. The one he was on dumped everyone in Chicago and all flying was stopped so he rented a car and drove back.
He could not reach her or anyone else by phone so when he got home, she almost had heart attack with joy.

Wow. Doesn't that really make you think. Every choice we make and every action we take (or don't) can have far reaching consequences.

Definitely something to be glad about for them.

I didn't get negative vibes from your post at all. Most of the posts here have been fine.
I made a light-hearted post here because I felt I needed to. I'm "glad" some people have thought enough to reply thoughtfully. :)

A very heartwarming story. I saw that too.. and it seems that another family with an infant couldn't travel because there was no room for another infant cot..

It is a very Zen way of thinking and I reckon it pays off big time. If you can find the positive you feel happier. That is all. :)

Sometimes it's hard to see positives in RL and Yoworld. But I am trying it out now. I did the challenge to post 3 positive comments for 5 days. I surprised myself by doing 7 days.
It is cathartic, :)

Thank you.
Pollyanna posts are my VERY FAVORITE!
Keep up the good work Lainie, and spread some smiles around the town.
Love it!
