That would make 2 of us. I have no idea about these. I did know about the 1c avenue but who in their right mind wants 1000's of those silly avenues clogging up their inventory? That's just crazy........

Not giving those people who did not exploit glitches a way to earn coins while raising the bar by increasing coin items to buy really had only one effect.. those that have coins will try and hoard coin items then sell to the have not's once a way for more coins to be made is added back in game the only way to stop this is by not putting a clock on releases. All this means is now some wait for enough neighbor visits to earn a coin item ect., the game in a way has been frozen for some and that will not have a good outcome as the holidays roll by.

What do those people who have billions, do with them? It's like a game, all it's own, to collect that much, I guess.

the house glitch.. there was a house available for 1 coin.. and when you bought it you were given 1 wallpaper and 1 floor, that could be sold back to stores... some players bought thousands of these 1 coin homes, sold the papers and floors back.. a glitch that was zynga's fault.. not the players.. as a result of that glitch alone.. billlions were brought into game thru many, many players

Omg, lol! I misread.

But wow! Really? See, I would have never thought to do that. Renee, so right! Who the hell wants to go through the 321983712 houses they bought for 1 c? Gah, what a mess, lol. Then they all complained to Z of "too many house, can you please delete?" :?:

OFF topic: Renee is my name, rl. Good to meet you. :D

Soon we'll be at 1mill-1yc lol.

if the yocash rate does not rise, then people won't see the justification in spending real money... not many yocash dealers need coins.. most of them have plenty and have most everything else they wanted.. it's only for the new items that they would need yocash, and if the rates are too low, or if there is no demand because the amount of coin item options, then they will only need to buy for themselves.. and that means players that do not buy, will not get items unless they buy yocash..

and I don't know if the number has changed, but 5% of the players buy yocash .. that number may stay the same, but amounts bought will drop.. as the need to sell, and the demand for items, drops ... that's the buy sell end of the game..

I know I'm not buying as much YC right now as I would if there were collectibles, limited timed items (that actually expire when they are supposed to) or YC only items that could be sold. They could get 2-3 times the amount out of me with the correct pricing model.

I have no doubt those that have millions are not hurting for coins but they are also driven to earn them out of habit and you slow that down it will drive them into the forums. Maybe on alt yo's whining that they cannot earn enough coins to play, and a lot of noobs have shown up in the last couple of weeks doing this.. me thinks some are having yc-to-coin withdrawals, many will be climbing the walls soon and become desperate.

there is nothing on timer.. everything is staying in stores till the sales drop off.. when nobody wants the items at store prices, then they will be removed, good luck selling one for 1 coin profit after that....

for now...

things will level out, they have to .... in time I imagine we will see more limited time items.. over time we will see more ways to earn coins...

Personally for myself, the money is in the AH. And if they don't fix it proper, folks will stop spending yocash there. Since the option to buy w/ yocash in AH was returned I for one have spent almost 200 in yocash in the last week and a half. And that was not so much for new items in the Store either. Tho a lot went for hairs. :D My point is that there are many many players here, and lots that don't even come to the forum. But they do spend lots of cash in the AH and Store and are generating lots of cash this way for BVG. I am in the group of ppl that do not need a yocash dealer but understand that they also contribute to the cash flow as well. :D
As far as coins, Im with those that hang on to my coins desperately. If I don't sell in Events or AH, there are not many ways to make coins and those new players have nothing of value to sell to make coins. I wonder how many are buying coins to off shoot the lack of ways to make good coinage in game? In over 5 yrs of playing, It was just recently that I ended up buying coins and that was something I thought id never do.

Willow (13350872) wrote:I agree with you Borg and another thing is items aren't leaving stores. More people would stock up on items if they were leaving stores. Out of this last release I found myself buying what I wanted out of ah and not buying any yocash towards it. I'm really looking forward for bvg to make limited items.

I agree with this...limiting time on items always has created more purchases. I am wondering too if maybe more people are starting to buy their own yo-cash instead? May not be great for dealers per say but in the long run more people buying cash on a whole will actually benefit the game in my opinion. Some dealers can afford to buy large amounts of cash but the average person can't so really....on average most of us can't afford to buy enough to support the masses. No way to really know for sure what is what at the moment. I am hoping it is because more people have decided to buy their own cash because it is the thing that will keep the game going for the long haul. 100's more people buying cash will outweigh the revenues lost when the bigger spenders cut back a bit on what they spend because realistically as I stated earlier here, I just don't think there are many of us who can afford to constantly buy cash in large amounts to keep everyone going. Just my thoughts.

BVG must make a way, or several ways, for players to make lots of coins... then those players can then buy items from yocash players, therefore the yocash dealers will buy more cash .... it's a circle..

but, there has to be something for the yocash buying player.. buying/selling yocash makes lots of coins.. what to do with them coins?? if the player has all the items from the old days that they could ever want.. what's next?

one thing I'm sure BVG will do, that zynga did in the past.. weekend sales.. and during those weekend sales would be 'spending' incentives'... if you spent X amount of coins you got a certain item that was in stores, and the more coins you spent the better the item, finally ending at a yocash item... and for yocash spenders, same idea, except was yocash items awarded, and the final award for spending X amount of yocash was an item not sold in stores.. rocket ride, underwater carousel thingy, for example...

but.. these things will take time... we know they are listening.. we've seen that, they are here .. they pay attention... they are smart people!

rome was not built in a day.. so rebuilding it will not be an easy fix, from all angles

Last few days selling any yc item has been like pulling teeth. No one wants to buy. And here's my opinion why.

As an example- when the handheld snow wands where released, about half and half where yc, and the others coins. Great weeeee handhelds for coins. That stopped me spending yc on them. I just bought the coin ones. Who needs to spend yc if there are two coin ones? I just made do with the coin wands. The glasses came out, again some coin some yc - great- I didn't need to buy yc ones - I just bought the coin ones. Then I thought i'd get a couple to sell (yc ones) Nope still got em lol. And no not selling them for huge amounts.
If your going to create the same item just in a different colour, one for yc one for coins. People are going to choose the coins in most cases. Less yc is going to be bought buy yc sellers, simply because no ones buying them. No one needs too. Just my thoughts.

What you reckon am I wrong?

I think personally there is a lot of right in this. But I also think the releases have been actually really small, there have been no real themes for decorators, and no extravagant collectibles or pets offered. I am not spending YoCash myself because there is little I am interested in spending it on. The part that is worrying me is the possible financial needs of BVG. Just hoping they get their 3D artist going and the game really gets started again. Of course there are a myriad of other issues and thoughts concerning, but hey..... we are all still here talking about it. :)

maybe it's because we have nothing but new clothes.
i have so many, its not worth buying even more anymore.

and the price of furniture in ah is way too crazy, because we dont have anyting new to choose from. so its thousands more than it should be. even at a huge rate, its way over the top.
a very low amount of furniture is killing us all. :(

your last paragraph? i completely agree! i'm not spending another coin or yc until there is furniture. i'm beginning to think they are bombarding us with clothes because they know they will never be able to offer us furniture/themed again. thus the influx of clothing. and unfortunatly i feel like they are dancing around talking about it.
