How do you know this? I sell items in AH everyday, EVERYDAY!! Most of the times, I sell several of my 10 postings everyday, very rarely do any of my items NOT sell. I made 300 cash 2 days ago selling 5 items. Today I made close to 2 million in coins. I already pay a percentage off the top for my items to sell, and this is taken off the item I already purchased to sell! I am getting one hellava headache at these threads that continue to suggest we should pay more more MOREEEEEEEEE to play this game. This is a feature in game. We do not have to shell out even more money to enjoy basic gameplay. Besides, there is already a premium feature you can pay to use if you want your items to stick to the first few pages.

It's a clear conclusion for me when I see the multitudes of pages with items so outrageously priced that no one with any common sense would buy them. Your sales can only be so successful because you price your items as they should. Looking at the AH at any time will show you that those type of sales are not in the majority. And in my mind basic game play existed before the AH did. So the ability to use the AH was not part of the original framework of the game.

If by paying you mean a posting fee in yocoins (apart from the commission if a transaction goes through). Then yes, that would create a bigger sink and less garbage posts... that fee has to be yocoins only though, not yocash.

Jesus what's next are we going to be expected to start paying yo rent too....

i agree, they should lift the cap on the # of items selling. But to pay for the auction house? no way. i'd rather go old school to events of wtb/wts threads and meet in game. They have to give us a better way of making money then "hotdogs :O~" and the factory, first before i'd consider paying anymore.

I would pay to use the auction house if a few things were different. I'd like to be able to try on the clothing/accessories and I'd pay to have unlimited listings.

Amen sister. I generally make close to a million a day if not more. Of course I spend it so it's not like I have billions of coins stacked up but that is how some of us make coins. The premium feature is already a yocash sucker. And thats ok. But if I have to pay a monthly fee to use my favorite feature of Yo then I'm out.

I read a thread over the last few days where many posters seemed to have a change of heart about whether they would pay for a featured AH ... I need to find it.. especially as Gary had mentioned the need for revenue to sustain the AH.

Now the paying part of the AH makes sense after Greg's thread - so nice to see how many players now see *the light*

I think people would take it more seriously,if they had to pay. At the moment it's full of ridiculously priced items . I think some players are just having a laugh and while that's okay and maybe a bit of fun for them, it puts genuine buyers and sellers off. I would think a similar fee to events,say 100 coins for each item might improve the AH.
