Yep , their silence speaks Volumes! Pretty much means this issue has been swept under the carpet! It doesn't take 4 months to fix an issue that was working all along! You can pretty much give up on the selfies ever working again! Just like our photos in our frames!

Unfortunately there is no update to give at this time.

We are working on a solution to the issue, but the problem is related to Facebook sharing, so it isn't something that can just be easily fixed.

I am just gonna ask...why does everything get blamed on FB if we use .com ..or is it just people with this issue are using fb??

Even on dot com it still relies on Facebook integration to function.

After whatever BVG did to "FIX" the Selfies on about the 4th May is what BROKE IT completely for me on YoWorld.com and for other players.
Also if it's just a FB issue, why does it make a difference where I am on the Map?
I can STILL take them Outside Vinny's Diner without a problem on the Facebook Browser version, (as I just did).

It's not a FB limit, I've just taken the full 10 consecutive selfies outside Vinny's.
Have you tried there, because if you've managed to take 1 that means at least the FB side of things is still working for you.

I thought the point of the standalone was to eventually separate from Facebook and have your own platform, and I'm not sure why you would want to have both. Isn't that why you've added perks like only being able to collect some of the freebies, having the layering tool and having better VIP packages on the website? I realize selfies were designed to be shared to facebook as a way for BVG to advertise the game and there's no way to do that on the standalone. Can you not create more ways to earn coins and give us Yo Points without being tethered to FB? Is it not possible for you guys to come up with brass frames and things where we can upload photos without using FB? I don't understand what the end goal is here. The site has been around for what, a year and a half? And still no new versions of items or features like these that don't require Facebook permissions.

What happens when you try to take a Selfie? I get as far as "are you ready to share this selfie with the world?". I click "Share" and nothing happens.

I am still waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unless I get back this feature, I am quitting the game for awhile and won't be spending my money here. I need this to work so I can compete in the Yoboards on FB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just was able to take a selfie and have it work outside Vinny's but it was saved as a webpage mthml or whatever it's called, which I cannot share, so once again, IT'S NOT WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's an idea if you can't fix it why don't you spend your time brainstorming new ideas and ways for us to make coins.

What happens when you try to take a Selfie? The box pops up as it's supposed to, but when you click on "share" it just goes away, no coins, no picture on FB.

You are right, nothing happens, to be honest I just saw the message that says "no film but you can still take photos" I took a photo but did not try and post until now and nothing happens! I'm only interested in the YoPoints TBH!!
