Andrew, can you clarify which interfaces are affected by this update? Your screenshot shows the number thing in the old editor, so it is mainly an update for that? I do see the difference in the way things are ordered in the Inventory crate, but other than that, ... I am using the new editor (except when I'm forced to use the old one for GE challenges — I hate that — but it did load and return items to my inventory faster on this last challenge) and I haven't really noticed any changes. Not sure if it matters, but I am using Opera on a mac for now because every time I open the site in Chrome, it locks up.

Wanted to use a chair I had. It's called Red Scoop Chair.

I like using these as bar seats, but when I try to place it, it won't let me. It is outlined in a box and will not place.

I greatly appreciate that the inventory is loading almost immediately. That's so much better and I do want to thank BVG for this.

However, that being said, it is even harder, somehow, to find what I'm looking for in my inventory. I hadn't done in gem challenge in a very long time because of all the issues. I decided to do this one. Yesterday while trying to do my room, things would not place, looking something up wasn't showing the items that I KNOW are under a certain code or search term. It took entirely too long, especially since the game also keeps wanting you to refresh every little bit.

I really hope this and the constant refreshing get fixed soon. I will probably never do another gem event otherwise.

The new system sucks! Why are you fixing things that aren't even broken in the first place? Like wdym I need to filter out 20+ items when I already specifically put in the key words? Mind you when I open up my Gifts section, the new items won't even come up!

Edit: Items are out of control like why are 2024 coming up first than 2025 when I try to gift someone? What even is this "system" if you can call it that in the first place. Its all over the place!

From a decor perspective in 3 words: A Complete Fiasco!
1)New items no longer showing! -I have to be psychic now to know if I have "levelled up" my newly purchased decor or not.

2)When new items are leveled up they end up at the end of my "on hand" decor 50+ pages down the track & I have to go "hunting" for them again because I'm not psychic again to know all their exact names & exact date they were released.

3)no actual idea of how many pages of decor I have on hand. 10+ , 20+ 30+ is no help at all!-again if I was this psychic I would have gotten over 5.8 on all my gem challenges everytime!!

4)No longer able to actually search for a store/section that has a generic name in it ie: while in edit, I searched for the "Garden of Love" section hoping it would come up straight away in the usual manner & I could go straight in BUT everything with the word "garden" came up instead!!! had to go scrolling for ages to get to the section/shop itself!
Do not even get me started on using "search" for the stores/sections called " Chairs" "Disco Furniture" "Kitchen and Dining" "Sofas and Couches"- 6 hours later I'm still searching & scrolling for the actual sections/stores!!

5)coin run coffees showing up in decor inventory-would be great if I could place them!

6) placed decor items ending up back in "on hand" inventory even though I placed it already-Thought I was going nuts but thankfully I found I have to keep refreshing to solve that issue

7) items not showing in my auction house inventory-again I know I'm not going nuts!

I mean seriously?? In what way is it faster to find things or am I missing something?

I still use the old editor. If I type in "purple rug", I get rugs of all colors, plus a purple chair. If I type in "tea set", I get every item that's teal color. Occasionally, a tea set will pop up but I never did find the one that I was looking for. These things do work correctly in the new editor.

As previously mentioned, nothing is tagged as "new", which makes leveling up a nightmare. Again, it does work in the new editor. Maybe this is just your way of forcing us to use the new editor. I hope not.

Please either fix these problems or let us go back to the old way. I was just getting back to decorating after moving and now this happens. Very discouraging and disappointing.

Can I please opt out of this new system. The errors happening are weird. It is making me fear that things will go missing/vanish/be misplaced/be in places they are not suppose to be... not a good feeling at all.

Please, let me use the old system.

This is obviously a glitch. I saw it, took a SS and shut the game down. I came here to post but decided to double check to see if it was still there, I went back in the game and it is still there. Makes me nervous about what else is glitching, has glitched, possibly removing things.. deleting things.. who knows...



Scary that this can happen, something is broken. Seems it was not ready for release.

I went into the game, did the daily Gem challenge, then went to a new home to see if the glasses were still there.



Yup, still there. Went to my clothing invo and looked for the glasses, not there. I was able to skim thru my glases quickly, I thought I had a bunch of glasses, I remember having to scroll and giving up.. are some gone? missing? donno.. scary!

In no way is this system better, at all. I would like the option of using the old system..

I did some editing, yes it's much faster, jumpy, but faster. The glasses are still in my inventory.

Oof! This new system will take some getting used to.
I liked how all the clothing items were grouped in colors. Now, they are so random.
It took me so much longer to change my Avi...I couldn't find anything.

So I went to YoDeopt to look for things and this is what I found..I also thought you said if we keyed in certain items only they would show like red chairs. When I keyed in disco ball everything with ball in it came up .I really wish you'd stop making things better because you only seem to make them worse.

i don't like the new inventory

i would like to opt out.

i tried to put on an old outfit and just remove all the "items" behind it, and none of them were showing up at the top highlighted, i needed to remember the names of each item to search for them to remove them. why aren't the items we're wearing showing up highlighted at the very top anymore? this is frustrating.

I can't make heads or tails of it. It's not by theme code/release date, newest to oldest, top to bottom. That would make sense. It's not by color, too many variables because naming conventions are inconsistent.

Unless I happen to remember the precise name of every item I'm looking for, trying to find things involves endless paging. It's depressingly frustrating. I'm trying to make a new outfit and I just feel like giving up because I can't find anything anymore.

i think i give up dressing up AND decorating. this is way too frustrating to deal with.

I have another post up about new inventory change and some people are frustrated and don't like it. I don't like it and it's enough to make me quit the game. I have to go FB to put anything in auction. No longer know how many items I have in inventory which used to tell me if I forgot to put something back in storage. I'm finding items in inventory that should have gone to storage homes. This whole new change is ridiculous.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Andrew, just reverse the program update & go back to the original inentory. There are way too many glitches to fix in this roll out.

Inventory is still not working,
Items are not marked as new
Inventory and multiples are not seen when in the auction house to put something up for bid (for example I have 3 of a certain item, but it is not showing I have three, so now not listing my items)
decorating , especially during gems is not pulling up all the items with use of search words

Just put it back !! the olny thing better is the speed, but all these glitches do not make it worth it

Tell the Dev Team that it's not liked, it's not wanted... it failed..

but honestly, it feels like a waste of time

I can't believe they worked on it for as long as they did and this is the final product? And it was given a thumbs up?

I have no idea if my inventory has had any changes. I still continue to show items as being available after they have been placed, sold or put in the ah. This makes me very reluctant to put anything in the a.h. as while it says I have two or more, I may only have one!!! And of course searching for an item is a horror. People want to celebrate halloween with a lot of horror should have to deal with my inventory.

EDITED: Just went into the edit mode for clothing, and all the items I have on under a category such

as 'item' are now all showing up together on top like they were before this update.

Yay! Seems that part of the problem is fixed.
