Would someone please direct me where BVG said they would not release old items? I used search option-and results are mind boggling amount of discussion from players, but no comments from a BVG official.

BVG -YoWorld is not Yoville , Zyngas collectibles are not BVG's Yoworlds collectibles, design, so previous Zynga promise of no release is mute point, plus can only be bought from other players, which in the long run is not much help to BVG since yocoins are useless when they need to pay the salaries and light bills.

You are obviously missing an important part of the game for some players. Those who are ambitious and want to do well in Yo. They buy extra things -in each theme, spend more yc to buy multiples. As investments.

Now this happens in real life - people buy stocks hoping they will increase, they buy antiques hoping they have found something extraordinary - part of the hunt for a good deal etc. In a way, this game relfects aspect in life. Where players plan ahead. Now some players have been dabbling in contraband and got stung. HAHAHAHA. who gives a whatzu. Your poll is totally irrelevant. Since your ignoring a huge component in the game for many players.

BVG said that it is Unlikely for them to re-release but they may make new variations of items.

If you'd like to see this, go to the Yoworld.com website and scroll all the way down to the FAQ where they answer many frequently asked questions.

I believe also that Gary stated somewhere that they have no intentions of re-releasing items at this time (or something to that extent), but I do not have the link for that one... though I do remember seeing it.

I wasn't sure how to word it myself because I'm still half asleep, but your entire post pretty much sums up my thoughts exactly.

If this is a "market survey" or "FGD=Focus Group Discussion", between the two option I would rather to release old stuff than to make old stuff non-tradable.

Go to yoworld.com. There's a lot on that page so you might have to hunt to find it lol

they cannot release the collectibles - or don't intend to. If you rmr , the appologised when the collectible pets where re released accidently only a few days ago, and moved as swiftly as they could to remove them. Collectibles where sold on the premisise that they would never be re- released. Everything else is not guaranteed.

I do, I been here almost as long as you. I have everything I ever wanted in this game, and I like to see NEW PEOPLE cumming in to this game.
This attitude some old players have is tiring: "I did this or I did that, & that is why you should do the same thing"....Why? Let's get some new" blood".
I like to see NEW designers & what they can do with all that old stuff. Maybe if you went & look at some things in Photo Album on this forum you would understand why I am talking about re-releasing old things, maybe you should make event in performance once in a wile to meet new people, maybe you should invite people to see your house & ask them to comment on how they like what you created.
I don't know about you but I did not start playing this game because I could accumulate pixel wealth.

Well then good for you...Why not give them your stuff and you get new? Why should it revolve around the fact that you got all you wanted? And the way you want it to play. Many of us love the collecting aspect of the game and love having that goal. They're not going to take our goals away from us. They pretty much said they know the collecting aspect of the game.

Yes, Very Few will cry & carry on about how hard they worked & how much they spend in order to obtain those items...than they should be very happy with the First option, they would be the only once having that stuff..... They got here first, so they are entitle to have something special. End of story. No more trading that stuff.

Thankfully we were told no re-releases. If there wasn't that promise I wouldn't be buying anything in fear of always loosing out on coins. Rets are a collectable and I believe we are always safe buying those with our hard earned coins. The reason they released these is as stated they were not ever "Released" They are unreleased items that people used to make millions of coins off of. They were created through mistake or hacks. Somehow They got in to the game. The menorah I don't know much about but from my understanding that was a "accidental" release so we may be safe buying those too considering it was released but for a short time. Idk what BVG has planned but I think what they did with this was a great idea. Showing they now have control of the game and these people making hacked items and or getting items into the game that were not created by the team... Will no longer be a issue because they will be sure people have a chance to get them. This release threw the hackers and mod users for a Loop! They no longer have control with hundred million coin items! As far as old legit items in the game. They are fun to work towards and a way it makes the game fun. We set the goal and reach it. It feels great to do that. It also is great to see creativity when they release new themes so YoWorld is on a good path and I see true hope for our game now. When Z had it after the new CEO it was like a slap in the face. But now our game is in caring hands!! Thank you BVG!
