You aren't going to believe this, but I never got to see the show ha ha ha!

I am hoping it comes out on DVD so I can finally see it, LOL.

It was so much fun to film. National Geographic came out and filmed me in my home for 5 dayz, then we drove to Dallas Texas to see my Environmental Medicine doc who has brought me a long way towards healing. I still have a ways to go, but am slowly getting there.
I was so hoping the episode would gain some awareness of MCS to the public, and the cause of the illness-which are exposure to toxins in our everyday products.
A lot of what I said got cut out of the episode, as they took 5 full dayz of film. I am so curious what did not get aired.

I have met many just like me living life after environmental poisoing.
A totally brave and inspirational collective are those of us living with MCS. I am honored to call them my friends.

I thought you looked very familiar. I didn't read the comments until now. I saw the show with also! That's sad you have never even got to see the film. I went to their website hoping to find away to contact them to see if they can send you a copy somehow. I looked up the episode and found the one you were on. It had a heading of "Allergic to Everything". I was reading it and noticed over at the side there are videos for sale. Do you know what season it was? Perhaps it would be available on one of those DVD's they have for sale. Maybe this will help.

Thanks, I've already been to the website many times, looking for the DVD of season 10 to buy it.
They have released up to season 9 on DVD. It's just a matter of time.
I've also emailed the producer and director many times but get no information from them on scheduling, just a hello how are you doing, LOL.

I had not seen the show because I was told before and after filming that my episode would be a stand alone episode, and be called Living with Mulpiple Chemical Sensitivity Disorder.
They told me it would be in editting until the end of May and air in late Fall.
Then they kept sending me contracts to sign via email, each containing a clause asking for permission for National geographic to edit the material and implied that they could use it to misrepresent my words.
I read every word of any contract I sign, and kept finding this clause hiding in all the email documents they would send me. I of course crossed it out, and wrote in that I do not give National Geographic permission to edit my words beyond their origional intent and meaning. I give no permission to lie.
After three attempts to get me to sign off on this clause, they gave up, then cut my episode into a segment and stuffed it into Body Shock which aired earlier in the summer when my husband and I were on an RV Road trip collecting rocks in the desert of New Mexico and Arizona.
When we got back, I had my player set to record all the Taboo shows..it had recorded Body Shock, but I was looking for my episode Living with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Disorder, LOL, so I erased Body Shock without watching it.
It was later in the fall when I found out what they had done.
The show was scheduled to repeat I believe around December 28-31st sometime, and I again had the recorder going to tape NGC Taboo on the NGC channel because my husband and I like to spend the last week of December in New Orleans bringing in the New Year.
When I got home, no Body Shock, it had aired on a different channel than NGC, LOL. So it's been a comedy of errors.
I have friends and family who saw the episode, and they told me what they saw. I was happy they included the two reactions I had during filming-once just walking down the chemical cleaners aisle in the grocery store while wearing my mask (this demonstrated how toxic these chemicals are without even being out of their packaging, and how they outgas-and how hyper senitive we with MCS are-it takes very little to cause a dramatic exposure. Then the other was a reaction to a neighbor spraying insecticide in their yard that drifted into my yard while I was outside).
So I knew which segments out of the 5 dayz of shooting they chose for the show, I've just not seen the finished product due to my comedy of errors. We don't travel a lot, but is so coincidental that my show airs the two times I am not home ha ha ha. Should be added a new verse in the song 'Ironic' ha ha ha.
I'll see it eventually.
I am happy to see by the two Yoville/YoWorld player comments that the public has seen the episode, and am happy to be entering into a dialog about it.
We have very little exposure with our condition. And even less help from the medical community. We puzzle them, they don 't know what to do for people who are too sensitvie to chemicals to take their pills and drugs to get better, LOL.
