Me too, I'm definitely old school. I have a Wii, though, and I got an xbox 360 like a year after it came out... but I got so bored with it so fast. First person shooters aren't for me at all lol!

I remember playing Doom on the computer and there was this game called "Hugo". It was an old DOS game... and you would walk your little guy around and you would type commands like "Open Door" and it would... I thought it was so cool back then lol!

I had a Super Nintendo too... and my cousin let me borrow his nintendo (the first one). Had lots of fun with it. Then I got PS2 when it came out too... Crash Bandicoot was so much fun!

I don't have my Super Nintendo anymore, unfortunately, but I download emulators and roms so that I'm able to play the old SNES games on my computer. I played B.O.B not too long ago and it was just as fun as I remember it to be, ha.

haha "open door" awesome

Call of Duty, Halo and new generation games don't compare at all to the older Zelda games (pre Wind Waker -- I was not a fan of WW at all...)... loved Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros (Super Mario 64 too<3), Spyro, etc etc... and then there was a game for the Super Nintendo called "B.o.B" ... I was addicted to that game for a long time too.

I agree. New generation games are for the kiddies these days so often. As for zelda I stopped playing them before they even became 3D. I'm only 25 though, don't let me look too old here yet LOL. I remember B.O.B!! When I was a kid in the 90s I had a super Nintendo, and then sony playstation 1 hit, so that was my actual true generation of gaming, I remember playing Crash Bandacoot, Tomb Raider 1, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, all the games that came out in the mid to late 90s for PS1. Then I never really evolved any further from there console wise. I've got tons of friends who are all foaming at the mouthover the modern, current games, and sure I play 'em when I visit, and it's cool and all. But Nope, oldschool gamer here. If anything.

Yes, I played on hardest and there's a part where you can't make a sound or they'll find you that is kind of tough. Was going nuts that day but got it over with, lol.

Yes, Majora's Mask and Ocarina are very very good games, I also love those, don't get me wrong! You should really play The Last of Us because it's a super nice story, amazing graphics and is very realistic... if you forget that there are "zombies" lol.
I do watch TWD but played one of the games, think it was the first one or something? And I didn't like it at all. Never finished it but might try it again and see if I was just being too tough on it. The series is great though, not as good as GoT or Vikings but up there :D.
About KH I never got into that game. Idk, Disney is not my thing but most of my friends give me a hard time over that, lol. Again, I might give it a shot and see what I think of it now!

Yeah, please do!!

Game of Thrones<3 I'm just about to start season three. It's amazing. I think I'm in love with Tyrion. lol.

Lol, Tyrion is awesome! I don't feel comfortable loving characters since they just kill them without thinking it twice but Tyrion is amazing. A few characters are awesome, dead or alive, and Tyrion is in that bunch :)

Fo sho!!! Tyrion, Arya and Daenerys are my favorites. :P

Yeah. I get emotionally attached/invested in characters from the t.v shows I read and I keep telling myself not to do that with Game of Thrones but it happens anyways. Ha.

@Vivica It happens to me as well but not bad I mean, I don't mind characters getting killed. If I did I wouldn't watch GoT :p. It's hard not to hate characters though... way harder than loving characters.

Robot Ears (185180932) wrote:I'm obsessed with Silent Hill. Only the first 3 games though. I've beaten them so many times, have all the unlockables etc. Granted the movies sucked, and the games started going down hill on an epic scale when the original Japanese devs dispersed and left the brand name in other people's hands. Just my opinion though. But glad to see someone else who's beat them. I've also beat Resident Evil 1 through 5. The seconds and third ones were my favorite in that series. A horror game you may have played or you may want to play is a little known gem called Obscure. It's pretty similar to resident evil and silent hill. I would not recommend the sequel though, Obscure 2 kinda sucked.

I played both 1st and 2nd of Obscure, I agree 2nd wasn't as good as the 1st. Silent Hill is a legend by itself not much to say about it :D

The scariest of all was the Call of Cthulhu lol That game was creepy as hell. I am not so happy with the latest horror games tho. Outlast, Daylight..etc I didn't even like Amnesia machine for pigs.
I sometimes like silly games such as Lucius and Among The Sleep. They are far from being good games but I like those games that offer a new idea that has never been done before.

Besides those I like Far Cry, Thief, The walking Dead(telltale games), Fable, FlightSimX, Anno, Crysis, I was kinda obssessed with Left4dead for a while, not playing it any more.

The Last Of Us is an amazing game. Literally the game of my dreams it totally sucks that it's only for PlayStation and I don't have one. I watched a full stealth walkthrough on youtube. I love the story and everything but didn't have a chance to play it. I am a pc gamer!!!

When I started gaming on pc, there was no windows, but just dos and there were no color monitors, only black and white lol
I remember running games like typing
C:/cd games(enter)
C:/Games>
lol I was 7-8 something I guess. Later when we got windows and color monitors, I was playing prince of persai, prehistorik, volfied and such classics. Then I never stopped gaming lol

Had an ATARI also. But pc gmaes were much more interesting to me.
I also played Sanitarium, Broken Sword series, Tomb raider series, Monkey Island, Pharaoh, Theme Hospital, and such as older games. Shortly I have a loooooooong gaming life lol

wow awesome, I'm surprised to find another person who's played Obscure. :D
Yes Silent Hill is a legend to those familiar with the actual games, for sure. I especially have respect for those who have gotten through the first 3 games and taken an honest effort to become a real fan of all of the incredible lore and depth to it. Kudos.
