BVG has stated more than once that they won't be re-releasing anything that players had a fair opportunity to buy. Themes that were in the stores, had timers on them and then expired, were available to all players at that time.

Yes, but there's something else. They say they are losing money each day fro the upkeep of this game, on the other hand, they can't create furnitures at the moment, plus, we can see that many people are not much happy about the clothing releases too yet, BVG is trying to encourage people to buy yocash.

If they unluck the existing themes, that will be for the benefit of the company, and the game's future in the first place. I know what they said, but at the moment there is an extra ordinary situation and decisions can change.

I mean think about it... what else can push people to purchase yocash more than this huge re-release of all themes at the moment?

I was just mentioning this in another thread and I didnt see that you had already discussed it. I am actually against the re-releases but in this instance, I think whilst waiting for BVG to get themselves organised and ready for a complete releases of a theme, I can't see the problem with releasing the old furniture only stock from SOME of the closed themes of 2012/13.

I do believe.....re- release furniture items only and only from closed themes of 2012/13. Nothing of significant value there at all. I think we risk losing decorators if something isn't done soon. Zynga did close those themes out for their MAJOR CASH GrAB so no harm in them coming back till BVG are ready.

I have almost everything I need, but it would be good for people who have missed these themes...why not?!? Come on! It's just a game, everyone should be happy ;) ;) ;)

I'm in two minds nothing new for me
On the one hand unlock some of the newer themes that were released and poof gone in a week
I was playing and some of them I never got the chance to even look at properly before they were gone from stores Steamboat would be one of those, a lot of the 2013 themes have difficult to obtain items because a lot never got the chance to buy anything Z was throwing all of the themes they had into the game we were getting 2-3 themes a week

On the other hand if the theme is greyed out send it to the back of the store or disappear it completely those expired themes are a big fat tease

Unlocking wouldn't help benefit BVG at all....in fact, could actually hurt them. Many many players, some of which are yc buyers, would leave - as they have in the past with re-releases. BVG would go back on their statements stating that they wouldn't re-release those items - which would leave players questioning everything that BVG states. Plus, the majority of players either already purchased those items or didn't want them to begin with - so there wouldn't be a mad rush to the yobank to buy yocash. IMO

I don't know why would anyone leave a game just because more items become available to play with..... That's a different point of view out of my understanding. So I don't comment on that.

But what I know for sure is, the reason I am not buying yc at the moment is the fact that there is almost nothing to buy at the moment. And BVG is having a hard time creating stuff for now.

They have plenty of unreleased they can release.......the servers were overloaded from these releases and pretty sure people will buy a good amount of yo just like last 2 times. They'd get my 500+yo and probably more.

Everybody who was playing at the time had ample time to buy any of the stuff that has already left. It had timers on it for days before it actually left the store. If you chose to take a break or go on hiatus at that time, or didn't buy enough then that is your fault. They have already stated many times that they are not re-releasing items that have already left so I'm not sure why these same threads keep coming up over and over and over again.

In my opinion, unreleased stuff are either ugly or malfunctioning or not functioning at all, and that's why they are "unreleased" in the first place. A more clear way to say that, they are Zynga's junk.

The reason of servers overloading on those releases was because they were the very first releases made by BVG. People were curious and excited. That's all. Not because they admired the stuff.

It would be great just to remove them so that we don't have to see them.

lol :)

Well, seriously this is not "beating a dead horse" as many people love to say over and over again. There is no dead horse. He is in perfect condition, very healthy. But locked in a stable and we want him free ! lol And no way we beat him no no no "against animal cruelty" !
