And thats one of the problems. There is no actual benefit here, so its about status....which is stupid imho. It also feels like people are being manipulated into buying so they arent embarrassed to not have a badge...I dont like this either. I want an opt out button as well please.

Many people without the badge still support this game by buying off of yc dealers that buy extra to sell to people who dont buy. I dont think there should be any kind of divide amongst the players.

I think it is an insult, not alot of people can afford Yocash these days. Its not right, not right at all.

i don't think so.... it's only when attitudes change b/c of a certain color badge that people would most likely have issues with. kwim? if someone wants to 'flaunt' their badge, then so be it, but it's not mine or anyone else's business what your or they spend each month. period.

do you understand what opting out means? you would be able to have the CHOICE to keep your precious gold badge shown if you wanted :roll:

and those who wanted to hide theirs could. and yes, i might not have a badge this month, but maybe next month i will, so until this game is gone, my voice matters just as much as yours.

Edit to add: IF i buy yc, I do not want it publicized via a badge how much I chose to spend. I want to have the option to hide it. THAT is why my opinion matters. It will make a difference if I spend anything in the future with BVG.

This is the issue. You're using badges to ridicule someone else. All it does is show if you've purchased yc in the last 30 days. jlock could've purchased 600 yc 31 days ago! You have zero idea!

Lol, bickering over a badge because if their purchases...yet some folks around here flaunt their yocash goodies like they're on parade....why bother complaining about a badge of support..complain when th amount of yocash you have is displayed then you'll have a legit complaint.

This is exactly why the badges are a horrible idea, not to single you out but you made it convenient and easy. It's going to create a divide between players who spend and players who don't as if the players who do spend's opinion means more than someone who doesn't.

I'm only a bronze and think the badge idea is terrible, yet you're gold so does your opinion carry more weight than mine? Curious question.

Actually, I don't recall him saying they will be served or replied to first. He did however state he would have a hard time taking serious those complaining about prices in game who don't n fact support the game financially.
