I'm still smarting from it all, even though I am certain as to why it happened. I do think the reason it happened justifies the pain, but it doesn't lessen it - at all.

i think most everyone had their boards locked, i thought what Michelle meant here was perhaps bvg could have just locked the boards from being changed and left them so we could enjoy them. that is how i took it.

Great point. That was my original recommendation. Lock them all down forever....and then ferret out the ones that had the no-no stuff on them. But they chose "wipe" instead of "lock". *sigh*

I haven't played in a minute. I haven't used paintboards in a while nor have i been able to use frames for years. i simply wanted to upload a photo of myself for my room and now ive been directed to this? complete BS. idk how much longer ill be playing this game at this point. ive been playing since 2010 and every single time i get on something else is taken away. i cant even do any trading like i used to because theres not a single guide thats accurate and people who buy and sell coins for real money have messed everything up. fix this or get rid of the dang game already!!! you bought it over in 13/14 for a reason right!?!?!? and how was it when you bought it?!?! even worse!!! get over it. put back 2 seperate servers for kids and adults.

Yes that is what I meant. Make them unable to be edited but keep the ones in the game that were already in the game.

If you don't have a Censor Bot to detect and block naughty pictures like other social websites do then why not refund our boards? And please keep in mind that players have spent thousands of coins on custom art too.

This is so completely unjust to all of us long time loyal players who do not abuse this feature. Another example of punishing the masses for the mistakes/wrongdoings of the few. Been playing this game since 2009. Today I'm finally done. This is depressing. Goodbye YoWorld.

It is nothing but guesses, and smoke and mirror, and making excuses for something that happened that they are as clueless about as the rest of us.

I want to hear an official statement on what happened to cause a company to punish the good player along with the offenders.
Only BVG's explanation is real

Please respect us enough BVG to give us a reason that you did this. This is so hard to forgive, and some of us desperately want to forgive.............but not sure you deserve forgiveness.
This could just as easily been someone entering some bad code that blew up the paint board by mistake.
Please own what happened, and tell us.

I am watching so many talented people who used to love this game walk away over this.
Give me a reason to defend you, and be in your corner.

when your customers have been with you for many years, you need to recolgnise they are more than customers - they are investers for one thing and they deserve to be treated as such. They are also friends - strange ones, yes, but still real and loyal and you do know who you can trust.

They've already said that they have detailed all that they will detail about it. So I guess you'll be waiting forever?

You know what I think it is. You know why I think it is that. And you know why they can't talk about it if it is that. You also know why I've ruled out every other possible cause as a less likely fit for what happened. But you are entitled to want a direct statement from BVG - but you'll be wanting that forever.

It also still bothers me what happened to our game. Accordingly I now call them "pain" boards. But what is done is done and there's no going back. I'll never pretend it didn't happen, but I do understand the threat they mitigated to Yo by doing it. They made the right decision to protect the innocents. I'm fine with that.
