I know several yo artists so disgusted and sad they left!
Who wants to play a game to be sad, or be sad on purpose in your free time.

I see a huge impact this has made.
Just peek around these forums for one, and see how dead it is. Hardly anyone is coming in to share their thoughts.
Most are figuring why bother continuing to share one's innermost thoughts and feelings when they are just disregarded and not listened to.
At some point the kicking in the pants just becomes too much and too often.

Several key friends of mine have left. It wasn't just one thing, most have been unhappy for a while because of changes BVG has been making, but kept hope alive and kept providing feedback in here on how to restore the happiness to this game, the game that used to make us all so happy.
But taking away their art, and knowing all they had made and gifted to their friends also got wiped out too was just too much to take when the air was already thick with unhappiness at this game's purposeful redirections away from the game it used to be............

Was a recipe for disaster.
The Echoes of their presence now bounce off the walls in here, where it was once was a full house!!

Way to clear out a game!!

I think this was already happening prior to the disabling of the boards, but that event was the last straw for many. It's really saddening. I noticed a lot less activity here happening gradually a few years ago and it's been rapidly decreasing since, especially in the last two years. And most of the feedback over the last couple years has not been positive.

I have had a bunch of buddies quit over the years and a couple good ones who would probably still be playing died. Some of my current buddies don't and maybe never have used the forums, and some of them used to but don't want to come here anymore because they are frustrated by not being heard by BVG and they are tired of the constant drama here. And some are just bored and logging in to the game less often. Not a good sign.

I've come to accept the board situation, much as I dislike it. I really hope they come up with a solution or alternative soon. Equally important is the desire for better quality themes and more store content. That desire is not being satisfied. Sigh.

Dare I say it, the gambling for prized items, the constant same old same old themes. How many pillows do we need? and now PB's, my enjoyment of the game is dangling from a thinner and thinner rope.

BVG you finally did it.

This makes me closer to leaving for sure. I have been on this game from the beginning and left for a little while when the game moved to Facebook. You're slowly killing the game.

I completely understand. It would take far too much effort and time to monitor and ban each individual who violates the usage rules. It is unfortunate but BVG has to do what they have to do. It's their game. Popular players do not control everything no matter how influential they are in the end it's BVG that has to make the hard decisions and unfortunately many players can't see the big picture. I will miss the art and the boards but I can roll with the changes and will not stop playing or enjoying the game because of this issue. I support you BVG it must have been a very difficult choice.

Last but not least. If you take away something of value you should pay that person back right away for our hard earned yocash and coins we spent. Just feel like bad customer service all the way around.

Think about it, what does BVG gain from taking away an item they know is the central part of the game??? NOTHING, they gain nothing from doing this, but they lose alot!!! This was not something they wanted to do just to be dicks!! They obviously had to do it and do it fast. I mean we are all smart people, seriously think about it.

I have been playing since the game began in 2008. I have spent thousands of hours on hand drawn Art on my Whiteboards. To just Erase them is wrong. Ban those who are violating the rules not everyone. I have no desire to play the game anymore after this. I am beyond upset. You should have come up with a better solution. We get nothing for all the time we put in.

Dear Amy, I am so sorry for your Doctor Who themed losses. I had a Whovian themed PB characters you might have enjoyed. Sadly, I don't have the screenshots - had I known we were going to lose our work, I would have taken more pics and organized my original files. If we ever get PB ability back, I'd like to donate to your collection.

You'd be incorrect. I don't know Canada law, but in the US any business with servers that identifies child porn on any device must contact the FBI immediately. This is usually followed by forensic analysis of the server(s) that can take days, up to and including removal of the physical servers and all related back ups.

If that isn't shutting down the game, please tell me what is?
