I dunno if anyone's with me on this.. but YoWorld is in some need quickly of nice, new hairs!
It's so hard finding nice hairs these days, because they've gotten so played out. :(

I just wonder, what would all of you "hard working" old players would have done if BVG did not save this game?
I remember posts on old forum after zynga announced the closing that you would give up everything as long as this game was saved......

BTW I been here 4 years now.

Absolutely.. what would be the point of collecting anything if we know in the future that It'll just be handed out like nothing to those who never even worked for it?

Definitely not wanting rereleases of ANY kind. Not hairs, handhelds, costumes, hats, not anything! New things are exciting things!!!

Ay Karumba.....it was a few pets that have been pricejacked over the years......I think what BVG did today was let everyone know DEFINITELY
that they are in charge and will do as they see fit.....if people are gonna quit over this they really didnt care much for the game....just their own personal gain....who needs them?

That being said I did also read that they wouldnt be rereleasing items designed by Zynga's development team so Im a bit confused

I believe today was a win win for not only BVG in their skyrocketing Yocash sales....but also for those that just wanted a unique pet

Thumbs up from me <3

I KNOW, I think that designers have made all the best hairs in game. But Z has some credit in nice hairs. Its not fun to play around with hairs anymore because we made alot of outfits waiting, and its getting boring. :P

Well when they announced it was closing, I added all my friends up on facebook, dressed in my cutest outfit and said my goodbyes and looked for somewhere new to spend my money. I'm not dependant on my pixels, but I do love having stuff to work for.. makes it exciting. :)

Thank you Chach, you pretty much just nailed what I was trying to say lol. Zynga ruined the taste for re-releases already, would just hurt worse if it continued.

I love the designers hairs, oh my goodness! We haven't seen the hairs that BVG might have in mind and I am tickled to pieces imagining how amazing they could be. I just cannot wait to see new items.. I'm on the edge of my seat! :)

Me or my family and alot of friends on facebook have decided that bvg acts too much like zynga with all their "we support yocash buyers" and stuff they have no clue over. People bought game cards at walmart and gave as gifts to friends to support the game but bvg has no clue who bought what or when to even make a assumption. So until they get head out of butt on rereleasing stuff and assuming things i will spend my cash somewhere else.

Re-releasing is part of why Zynga took a huge dive in the negatives with Yoville. And on that note, I'm just not even going to bother spending my money again on things that will just be re-released as I see you're already on that path. New items is what has been asked for, not old ones.

Best of luck to you and your game. I currently just don't think I'm going to be apart of it. Thanks for saving it, just not the way I was hoping for.

~BlUe DiAmOnD

The re-releases is hardly the reason Yoville took a hit with Zynga. Zynga's priorities changed and they made the decision to close Yoville because it didn't fit with their new business plan, that's why the themes stopped, they weren't supporting Yo anymore. Once the themes stopped they started with the re-releases as a cash grab before they closed the game.

With the amount of money floating around in the game, even if BVG makes new items, as soon as they leave the store they will rocket in price and become unreachable to new players who will not be able to afford crazy prices that older players with millions will. This game needs new players to survive.

BRAVO again!!!!!!!!
The reason this game took a hit with zynga was because the prices became unaffordable to most people, and that precipitated & encouraged hackers to create fake items & people to start selling fake coins & stuff. Zynga did not want to deal with it, it was costing them revenue.... not only that Zynga was not dealing with anything for the last few years when it came to this game... all they did, just keep releasing more & more YC items & collecting money from people for few VIP items. People already forgot we couldn't buy picture without paying YC for it. That is why people were leaving in droves, & it happened way before zynga re-relised anything. For 2 years I was watching amount of active players going down & down & down.

Thank you!!

i disagree they need players who buy yocash, i can say i have spent 1,000's over the years. price jacking was from hackers and yes there is greedy players. i can tell you not every player is like that.

I'm against re-releases.

Why should new players who just joined have the same items as the older players?

I didn't expect anything to be handed over to me when I joined.

They can work for the items, just like the old players. JMO

... stopped playing lol. There's nothing we could do but it was better seeing it end under Zynga than keep watching them ruin it. We got a spark in our hopes when BVG saved it, some people just don't want to see certain things continue.

It doesn't take much to get anyone to quit the game anymore... it's nice that they saved they game and I seriously do think they have made some awesome improvements with getting the old stuff working. I just don't think Re-releasing is the way to go, it's not going to help.

It's almost like eating a dinner you absolutely hated as a kid, it went away and you thought it wouldn't be back. Well one day it surprised you and came back, it just makes you want to give up on eating dinner because you now know that there's always a chance that you'll have that same supper another time.

I'm guessing that BVG has done a lot of thinking about what to do about the Yoconomy to make it sustainable, for older and new players entering the game. If BVG was to read a thread like this they will be bombarded with a lot of differing opinions, making their decision even more difficult. Re-releasing is a touchy subject and letting it linger too long is like walking on ice that keep's on getting thinner.

I think the GOT quote is rather fitting for BVG when it comes to the yoconomy.
"Do you know what leadership means, Lord Snow? It means that the person in charge gets second-guessed by every clever little t*** with a mouth. What if he starts second-guessing himself? That's the end; for him, for the clever little t***s, for everyone." -- Alliser Thorne

This would be a great idea. I feel it would help boost the Economy tremendously. Helping new players grow faster to be able to more back into the economy itself. Also doing it all at once would help keep the drama to a minimum which is always a good thing ;P

If they just re-release one theme with a few expensive items in it, then yeah they'll be annoyed because they could've spent the coins on something else that's expensive. But if everything's re-released, then it won't be as expensive..

Agreed. I like rereleases. If it was up to me, I wouldn't expire anything ever. In ooold old times when I went to sales I used to buy many in store items cheaper than the store price. So people weren't buying random things for profit, but for their own fun & decoration, when they got bored of it, they were selling it off for cheap so someone else could enjoy it for a less price. That way of playing was good. All we wanted to do was getting nice items and create great looking rooms & houses and dress up nicely rather than worrying about which items to invest on everyday. We used to be able to actually PLAY.

But I understand for many players the actual fun is yo-economical challenges, dealing with yo-capitalism... Yes, that's a fun thing too but right now that way of playing took over the "decorating, dressing up, having fun" aspect. Some people just buy and sell, collect coins and hoard expensive items aimlessly in a room, most of them don't even have any clothing except pink retros and and an old bow, most of them don't even decorate at all. ..
