I don't visit the wishlist that often. I did go there not long ago and sent like 5 people some items. And each one said ty. I over look any wishlist that have huge items because I don't think it's right to even ask for stuff like that but that's just my opinion. And if say someone did get something big. I think they should drop out and let the next person get a chance but again this is my opinion. Now in game I love going to new peoples events and buying something off them and giving them way more then what they asked for it. I did this the other day. I walked in and this guy puts up a smile face and said hi. Right then I figured i'd be giving him some extra coins just because of the smile lol

It gives me more pleasure to help the ones out that are trying in the game :)

What bugs me is that I've seen people with millions and millions of coins, just asking for very expensive items. It's clear they just want to sell them, because if they really wanted these rare items then they'd buy them.

I'm no wishlister, but if you feel you must. Here is my apartment link, my home address, my bank account #, my paypal link, the name of my accountant, the location where you can leave packages, my tax ID for your giving records, my charity registration #, and the drop box at my church. But don't feel obligated. I'll survive....I mean it is not like my diseases aren't life threatening...today anyway. So you go on with all your fun and I will admire you from a distance. I'll be ok. I've been through worse. I mean after the truck broke down and the kids were all taken away by CPS, a man can only take so much. But I'm good now. You enjoy your stuff. I don't need anything....that you actually want. But if you don't want it, well, I'm not above helping you keep your inventory under control. I'm a pal like that. I'm a friend like you are. Wow you are so generous. TY for the Old Bow. It would be awesome to have a Naturewoman to make it look right. But I'm ok. I promise. The gout is only in one foot now. Soon I will be able to go outside again....if I can only get my sun allergies under control. But thanks for making Yo better for me. You sure super nice and awesome and a keeper.

Foremost, there is no rule whatsoever that states that wishes must be posted in the "Official" Wishlist Thread.

Second, you make it sound as if all players who place items from their wishlist in their signature are greedy. I, for one, vehemently digress. Have I placed expensive items in my sig? Of course; however, those items have been extremely hard for me to buy in game (Decorative French Doors, 09 4th of July Food, Alien 09, Mafia Cigar). I try to gift every day until my gifting limit is reached. And I don't gift just freebie items. I look at peoples' wishlists, and I decipher whether or not I have any items (or similar items) on their list, and I proceed to gift them.

You demonise the entire premise of wishing, and that, my friend, is wrong.

All of the "expensive" items that I have received are from EXTREMELY generous Yos, and I thank them so very much and I am extremely grateful for their amazing gifts.

My opinion ... to each their own...

What bothers me is not the WL, but those who indirectly beg with their threads on "oh, I can't find this item" "which item should I buy" "Why is x item so pricejacked I really want it"

I also have some on FB who do the same thing ^^ indirectly begging and fishing for gifts. IMO it's 10000x worse than a WL.

mehh, you're different, you have a different "huge, biggest, favorite," WL item in your siggy everyday...You get you're "dream item" then the next day add another?! Come on now...

Oh, now that just pisses me off, when they are obviously greedmongering; however, I searched forever for a Black Mafia Hat, priced within a range I was willing to pay/could pay, and nada. I posted a thread that I would happily purchase one if gifting was out of the question.

Also, selling gift items is just sick. I have kept all of the items that I have been gifted over the years (save for the time I was hacked).

Actually, yes. I do. I have a stand-by list of items that are unobtainable for me at the moment, so I put it in my wishlist once I purchase or once I have been gifted the previous item. It that a crime, all of the sudden? Am I greedy because I wish for a few items? I can chronologically list EVERY wish that has been in my siggy, and only two of them are "expensive."

And, by the way, the Mafia Gold Ring is the last item that I intended to place in my wishlist, because frankly, that is the last item I actually want.

So what you are saying is it is ok to beg if you cannot be bothered to look for an item???
