Have some respect, He explained that he is trying to get more people into his group and wanted SERIOUS applicants only.. and probably half ( if not most ) of the posts were not serious and that most of the time would make anyone annoyed.. And being respectful to someone's request doesn't mean they " own " you. It's called being respectful.

He doesn't own me. If his group starts paying my rent, my internet bills, then maybe he can have a say in what I post or don't post. Please..

You people hurt my brain. If you want the drama to stop, stop adding FUEL to the fire by responding. This never would have happened if you didn't get soo upset with the fake applications. Obviously they weren't meant to be harmful OR disrespectful in any way. FFS, public forum = me posting whatever I want.

Really? I'm pointing out the fact that you & your buddies are the ones in here calling being aggressive & calling people names who were just posting in a public thread. Pretty simple stuff man.

These expectations are ill founded. If you want private threads, stick to closed FB groups. What part of PUBLIC FORUM is so difficult? Every thread in here is fodder for the masses to do with as they will. As long as people follow the rules, they can say just about anything.

But since the fun has been sucked outta this one, I'm out too. Start a new one tomorrow and I'll do some more dog piling. Guaranteed ;)

Nutcase, please do not tell me I'm adding fuel to the fire by responding when you are also posting.. It's sad that some people can't leave a thread alone.. It might be a public forum but having respect for people should be appropriate in every situation whether it's in real life or on your pc.. There is always someone who wants to turn it around.. I'm not going to beg anyone to understand, if you want to keep on- go ahead.

No one said he did anything wrong. A few of us had a little fun and were silly with the application. We did no harm to this thread, there are several serious applications. We were having fun and by doing that helped bump this thread for him. It was him and others that started with the crap that we are all rude and passive aggressive and what not. They made this into a bigger deal then it was and saw it as a personal attack instead of just either ignoring or having a giggle. There is no way to control how people are going to reply to a thread. If you can't handle what people may say don't make a thread.

Public threads does not equal the right to treat people with disrespect and aggressive behaviour. What YOU and YOUR buddies are trying to do is pass off aggression under the guise of humor.

So based on your reasoning, if there's a group of people in a restaurant or park that are in a club, and I'm not in that club and don't want to be, I'm within my rights... and entirely appropriate in my behavior... to join in their conversation, respond to questions with nonsensical answers, and then when they ask me to butt out, I can tell them they take their club too seriously? Okay. I didn't know that's how it worked. Consider me educated.

How is that the same as being on a public forum where EVERYONE is entitled to join in on a thread. I wouldn't chime into a conversation in real life, however on a forum, I will post where I see fits....

That doesn't logically relate or make sense.

I'll let the club be. You guys can do your thread and club thing, as I am tired of explaining. Enjoy and best of luck.

My my my, where do i even begin! Three extra pages when i get back you guys are killing me!

First, i understand most of you are coming with no harmful intentions. Just tyring to have fun, BUT let me remind you that everyone see's things different;y so not everyone is going to see it as "Playful and jokingly" Now, I can see where Casp might get a little ticked off seeing as he was looking for straight forward answers, not people turning his thread/application into a joke (because it wasn't meant to be) . BUT i also see where the people who are trying to have fun are coming from and i can't blame either side! IT's just differentiation in POV's and sometimes it gets a little...messed up! I know there was no harmful intentions, and i know caspa is trying his best. So can we at the very least try to be supportive yet jokingly playful at the same time? If that's at all possible.

So let us set these differences aside, and start fresh. No more "He said, she said, it said" Drop it and move on! :). I don't want this thread getting deleted because Caspa is trying darn hard to rebuild a family that was devastated after the closure of MP. So please? Thanks guys and HAGN

Honestly, things like these crop up everywhere. I'm not "picking a side" but you do have to admit, these people submitting less-than-serious applications are bumping up the thread, therefore increasing the chances of more serious applicants applying!

As Caspa had originally posted, he did want this to be a serious thread. It is a public forum, so no you're not going to get 100% what you want, that's not how it works. However, generating this much nonsensical hullabaloo over something that's quite silly in my opinion, isn't the best thing. I say we thank all serious applicants, have a good chuckle over the silly ones (that honestly were not meant to start anything) and get over it all!

Maybe posting something like this and "adding fuel to the fire" will encourage others to voice their opinions, who knows? Everyone is entitled to their own personal views and opinions on a public thread. Bottom line: Treat others, and in this case others' threads the way you'd like yours to be treated. That is all.

Sorry to Vinny if I took away your thunder! :P

So the little passive aggressive funny clique is bad but the GLOBAL clique is a-ok?

Interesting. Very interesting.

There is no "Global clique" so don't go starting rumors. Cliques are limited to few people, Global is limited to noone, we accept everyone.
