That's great to hear, thank you! And it's a good thing all those rules and warnings you are giving - they are important to have in place so thanks for that too! :phew:

Btw as a person who loves things that are glittery/blingy/sparkly - I want to say thanks for those new frames that sparkle. Very cool.

As previously stated, we do not have any control over this. We did not make these applications, so we can't help them function. We did not make any changes to the way Paint Boards work, though.

Understood, and thank you for making this statement. However, the company should have been transparent about this. How are we supposed to know?

Any decent developers out there willing and able to make a YoWorldArt alternative or fix so that we can use these things? It's a tool I'm willing to pay for! I will not give BVG money, but for a paintboard tool that works... please, smart techie people, let me give you money!!!!!

I have an old laptop that I use to play the game on. It is outdated and needs a bunch of updates, I believe it's running on windows 8? lol... Glad I kept it because I can still do paintboards on them.

I put some of Andrew's post on the free large paintbaord we got just to see if it still works

What are you using to put them on the board? The chrome extension? Or fiddler?

On my old laptop I have Firefox installed and I use the extension for that browser.

I just installed the extension for Chrome (posted in a thread in the forum). I haven't tried it yet but it is installed. Where there is a will there is a way

I have always used Firefox to play the game, until yesterday. I decided to give Chrome a try and it is much faster with hardly any loading issues.

I saw that thread also. Thank you for confirming. I was hoping to get fiddler working as it was much easier to use for me and takes transparency photos much better

I hear Fiddler is not working either. I've tried to get the extension via the chrome store and it won't allow me to download it on any browser, not even chrome. A year ago, I had YoWorldArt installed on Chrome and Firefox. It actually DISAPPEARED. It exists at the chrome store but cannot download it. Does anyone have the actual file for the extension that they would be willing to share to others so that we can USE the paintboards? (I know how unlikely this is, but must try. This has been a year-long crisis on this end and the crisis continues. I need to get this dang thing usable. So much time and money gone...)

I know BVG didnt want 3rd parties but thats exactly how players were doing it for years. Im a little surprised that this whole year that the paint boards have been disabled, BVG did not design their own extension app or source. Im one of the few that probably held hope of the return of boards & I assuned when we were told in update and inquiring that it was being worked on so I thought that is what BVG was doing- making boards safer while adding their own way for players to be able to image that was not the case. I'm happy paintboards are back restored images but also disaapointed that BVG was not, this whole time, working on anything regarding boards. Nothing was worked on it seems. paintboards were enabled, that is all after 1 year. Its not BVGs fault any options have been removed for us but should have been creating an option. Im reading these posts and 1 player out of all yoworld can image due to an old program or windows? Feedback to BVG please we got out paintboards back but have lost the functions to do anything further except to draw. You can draw on white boards that was already still in game. Please figure out an option for players, someone mentioned even would pay, so maybe a subscription for those who want to image, or something please. Thank you.

glad Opera GX worked for you too :D

I take this opportunity to add:

I just tried to download the extension again with MICROSOFT EDGE by searching for it directly from the browser's search engine, from there I was redirected to the extension and I managed to download it

I attach a screenshot so as to be clearer (my English is very, indeed too basic, sorry)

I hope this can help those who no longer have the extension and can't download it from chrome (finger crossed) ;)

Thank you so much! This has worked for me and finally can go back to making art. :) Hope it does not change.

I just installed the extension today on Chrome. Yesterday when they paintboards came back I tried to get the extension for Firefox on this laptop but I couldn't so I installed Chrome to see if I could find the extension there. I couldn't find it.

Today I see a thread with a link for the extension, and I am usually very very weary of clicking any link but I 'risked' it and checked it out. (there is no risk, just my fear). I downloaded the thingamabob and followed instrustions. It was fairly easy for me and I am in no way a tech person.

I made a paintboard on my old laptop which still has the firefox art extension and just now I went into the game using Chrome and did this board just to see if all worked as it was supposed to, and it did.

LOL this is really funny, "any decent developers" didnt make these 3rd party programs and have no authority over them AT ALL. If BVG wasnt a decent developer, they would have just ignored the paintboard issue and left us POOP out of luck. Its not their fault nor problem if you can or cant use the paintboards, and they are not obligated to make a whole new program to cater to people who cant figure out how to draw on the paintboards, so for once just appreciate BVG and say thank you. SHEESH.

I guess I lucked out. I had been using the Chrome browser extension, but when I went to use it the familiar icon was gone. I clicked on extensions and it was still in the list, but just turned off be cause it is no longer supported. I turned it back on and it worked as it did a year ago.

I think you are confusing the "Whiteboards" with the "Paintboards". There is no border on the Paintboards, and there is a border on the whiteboards that can not be removed. The Whiteboards are not new, but the Paintboards were introduced much later in the game.
