Sigh. This game was designed around the idea that EVERYONE could buy items and design rooms based on their own likes and dislikes. You don't like it...then move on.

Ok,,, I've skimmed and scanned all the posts ^^^^
This is a game! Its not the real world - its a world of fantasy and creativity.
We all have our preferences... we all have our pet hates, but the majority of adults and many of the minors, here have the ability and maturity to pick and choose what we want to see and what we want to ignore.
The fact the we want to decorate with the items that are available in the store ... and are requested in the game by many people, does not make us demons.. or social pariahs..
To be honest , I am offended by being called either of these......
Now I'm off to decorate the way I wish... and I hope the OP has a great, and productive summer

I am older then 13 and I'm spending my life on a game because I'm grounded but if I wasn't I would have more of a life then any of you adults on this game.

We'd set up the little green army men in side by side forts we built out of dirt and sticks. Then we'd step of 20 feet or so, pull out the bb guns, and commence to decimating each other's forts. Ah good times.
