Worth what is worth ... how much the market is willing to pay. There is not a "defined" worth. And people have to understand those who do Price Guides, they volunteer to do these. As I said in an earlier post it's obvious to me that the Price Guides do set a price themselves because there is no way to know what items are going for in the aftermarket right after the theme closes.Cheryl (7795024) wrote:We need the actual worth of an item, not a guess, not what it selling for in events & not an average as I rely on the info out there just to make a few coins!

And who is supposed to run this? BVG? That's not what they are interested in nor should they. Their putting up average price of the sell of an item in AH is as far as I see them ever going.II Beefcake II (175569126) wrote:Get rid of them all, and have a yoworld one thats fair to everyone....

I think there are many people who don't understand the complexity of pricing tens of thousands of items. And they also don't seem to understand that the Price Guides are only guides done by people like you and me.
It's a game so why worry about it ... and you or anyone else isn't forced to use Price Guides. I do agree that they can be abused by those who make them.II Beefcake II (175569126) wrote:Get rid of them all, and have a yoworld one thats fair to everyone....
I lost faith in yorehab and priceville when I saw an agent of one of the above buying in bulk because they were putting prices up.... Also they both claim that players control the prices.. Players that are rich and have millions n millions control the prices... I work full time so some of us dont have the luxury of sitting on our ass 24/7 earning coins
Also stop this talk about yoeconomys.. its a game.....
Again you don't have to use their prices nor does anyone else. And if you can find someone to sell 5m for blue retros to you then you are able to buy them for 5m. But you can't say I want to buy them for 5m and people have to sell them to me for that price, sorry but that isn't the way the real economy works or the pretend yoville economy.II Beefcake II (175569126) wrote:Noone asked them to price the items, they are cartoon items, people should pay more attention to the real economy rather than a pretend virtual one... If i want to pay 5m for blue retros then i should be able to, people dont use them as a guide, they use them to put a price tag on there items...
You have been around long enough you should know that price guides are JUST a guide.Ralph (9314969) wrote:I've lost so much because of priceguides, I thought i could trust them and turns out items sell for much more than what they say.\
No you aren't, there are people who sell who sell cheaper than price guide and no one is forcing you to buy anything, especially anything on the after market, buy things in store if you don't want to buy from others.II Beefcake II (175569126) wrote:No im not forced to use priceguides your correct, i always sell cheap... but im forced to pay the prices they put up...
They are guides, the store has price lists, refer to my last post before this, maybe you didn't see it.II Beefcake II (175569126) wrote:Mele please... Its not a guide! Its a price list...

The point im trying to get at is if i owned BVG i wouldnt like outsiders deciding on the prices of items i originally released.... if there was no pricelist id be buying pink retros for what they originally came out for.... Priceguides were used to buy bulk from agents and friends, sell for a huge profit then sell on the coins via paypal.... I spoke to someone in auction today, gutted they lost 50m because they bought white jeans then they got re-released... Why he lose out? because he had no choice to pay it because it stated the price on the site... We'd be having a different chat if u had bought menorah for 100m and it got re-released...
First store price was 20K for pink retros, second they aren't in store anymore, third even if there were no price guides you would be paying more than 20K for them, only makes sense because they aren't in store anymore. So I just have to lol at you for saying if there weren't price guides you would pay the original price of them.II Beefcake II (175569126) wrote:Store price list states 25k for pink retros..... Theres people now trying to buy blue retros for 7.5, why cant they buy them cheap? Because priceguides say you cant!
