Yes, but there's something else. They say they are losing money each day fro the upkeep of this game, on the other hand, they can't create furnitures at the moment, plus, we can see that many people are not much happy about the clothing releases too yet, BVG is trying to encourage people to buy yocash.

If they unluck the existing themes, that will be for the benefit of the company, and the game's future in the first place. I know what they said, but at the moment there is an extra ordinary situation and decisions can change.

I mean think about it... what else can push people to purchase yocash more than this huge re-release of all themes at the moment?

That's only because they're just getting started. Once they get the ball rolling things will be much better.

No. I have stated how I feel about re-releases and I have not changed my mind. BigV has said no and I believe we can trust them to keep their word. I voted no,

Willow I'm positive that most if not all have read what BVG has to say about it. We can however try our best to persuade them to think otherwise. We don't all have to agree about everything.

But you're asking them to go back on their word. And they've already stated no re-releases. It shouldn't have to come from other people too. And as long as others will say they want them many of us will say we don't want them. I know everyone has a right to their opinion but they already stated no re-releases.

Alright well then I hope they mistakingly open up all the closed themes in the stores for a day. Just like they mistakingly put the Dalmatian and poodle and jaguar back in the pet store. :)

Maybe I'm wrong but when BVG originally came to that decision there wasn't really a defense for why it would be better to have them open again. Its just like when people do picketing when they don't agree with a ruling or something that is said. Sometimes in life people say things before truly realizing they may just be hurting themselves in the long run. I think that if people heard the whole arguement for why it should be opened, and not hold on to just them saying they couldn't seem themselves opening them up, then maybe they will see it would benefit all. As I said in the other thread, Zynga hit its peak before they started removing themes. The more options they have for more people, the more successful the company will be at pleasing everyone. Options for decorators, and collectibles for those who play to just get rich.

There didn't have to be a defense on why it would be wrong. They understand the game and the item rarity. They also understand that the yocash dealers that buy yocash sell to get those items. Anyone can get what they want in game with some time, money and effort.

Yes there was a need to have a defense, they were only seeing one side of this game because of the uproar by those that oppose the unlocking of the ghosted themes. It is not as easy as you seem to think it is to find items. It is not just about couches, tables, and love seats, its about all of the items. I use luxery shelves to make steps in a lot of my homes. If they closed that theme out, I would be furious because it is one of the best items to use for steps. You need a lot of those to accomplish what I like to do with them, and with the price jacking it would literally take a year just to finish making steps for a home. Not to mention if I wanted to use them for another home. Prices are not what they use to be, and sometimes the little stuff becomes big stuff in decorating down the road. I am an old player, one of the oldest players to play this game, and I absolutely hate BVGs reasoning to just apease the people who later like to price jack items. I am also considered rich if you look at what all I have and money, but you don't see me complaining that "omg my items would be worthless." I play to decorate. I also play to earn collectibles, to use, and showcase to other people. People keep making the same excuse for not wanting the themes released, but fail to realize what a collectible is and why we have that theme in the first place.

I agree it is not that easy and peaceful to find items for decorating running from one event to another, fight with other people, come across to a good seller, bump a thread for DAYS to get a single item. Even if you have enough coins, you still can't get what you want. Also it isn't the same thing with shopping from home, trying different stuff in a room, changing the idea, deciding which one to buy etc.
I have been trying to buy that ""2 idiot lambs jumping over a dang fence"" item ever since the transition, long before we got these forums. I have coins, but can't find the item. Worse than that, meanwhile that theme's stuff are price jacked which made it even harder to get. So I finally gave up. Does this sound fun? To me no.
