I prefer the layout of the old forum. it was much easier to read and less strain on the eyes. I don't like the embedded quoting and the fact you cannot quote more than 3 embedded quotes so it makes your convo a little disjointed.

It's also hard , with all the siggys and text beneath them to know where one posts starts and another person's post ends.

This is a tough decision..
There are parts of the old forums I enjoyed,
but.. there is also many things i enjoy with the new forums.
Hence, I can not pick either or.

Well as the old forum has gone, I have to say that I prefer the new one.

I like these.

-We are able to create polls.
-Tons of new, even animated smileys.
-Nice new brighter look.
-Easy to use.

What I do miss from the old forums, is that we can no longer go to our profiles, and take a look at our past posts, and they were easy to find.

These forums have something similar, but this version of it is going to take some getting use to.

My only complaint about the new forums is the block feature. You can block posts, but you cannot block private messages.

Edited to say: I have found how to automatically delete messages from 'foes' but it is not straight-forward like the old forums.

I like them both.
It's not an either or for me...there are features here that I like..the smileys are very cool :shock:

and the name change thing is fun too 8-)

. Figuring out who's who is always interesting

I'm not a fan of the quoting feature. Too complicated when trying to clean it up within a post

At first, I didn't really like this forum too much. But that's because it's soo different. But, I'm getting used to these forums. I have to...I don't have a choice.
