Sometimes im in Altons and someones behind someone. Sometimes I see 2 hairs that looks decent with the other hair behind it, therefore I give you MERGING HAIRS
-Must own both hairs.
-Dont have to be the same color
-Cant sell merged hairs
-Can be unmerged
-Merge the way you like
So you would go to hairs, if you own 2 there would be a option below it to merge hairs. You choose the 2 you want to merge. You enter a small paint like creator, both hairs are basic merged by the game. You can choose the premade merge or play around till you like it. Then there would be a highlight option. If one hair is blue, one is black you can make it black with blue highlights or you can rid of highlights. To unmerge a hair you just press unmerge below the hair.
(Basic hair merged by me Black Short Cropped + Female Black Braids to make Black Cropped Side Braid)

Its definitely new. But I think it sounds just a tad bit too complicated. They might have to make versions of every hair combination possible, then there are also some hairs with different qualities, that when merged would create something strange.

True that. It's interwsting but probably hard to deliver.

They wouldnt have to make new merge possiblites, I mean they could just let the players merge there hairs

It would be nice, but it won't be able to work properly in game because the hairstyles in game are saved as two images
One that goes in front of the head, and one behind it
While some of the hairstyles only have on front image only like the one I have on right now since the back is not visible from this front view

So there would be only 2 hair combinations possible for every 2 hairstyles
Front A + Back B, or Front B + Back A

Unless they redraw the hairstyles into more than just 2 layers, which would be super laggy and would make the game slower :p

merged hairs would look horrible.
