Tier pricing is good, its what's required in order for YoWorld to prosper.

i kept out of the game for 2 years, i came back saw the cost to buy in the millions. not once did i complain. went and bought my yocash sold to get my coinage where it needed to be. nothing was given to me last several months. i earned it. i keep hearing the pricing is fair to keep the economy in balance . Greg posted only 5% are paying into the game, i am sure it will improve with new themes . that means last couple re-releases players bought the coin items. tier prices are okay, what i am not a fan of is same item different color, one with coins/other with yocash. every player plays at a different level. some play like to decorate and others like to sell. its not a fair balance out there for yo sellers. if this stuff stays in store without a cutoff date. players are going to lean towards the coin items. part of me wanted to hold back yesterday and not buy yocash yesterday. i went ahead and bought yocash. if this is the direction the game is going it will slow me buying yocash in the future.

Not necessarily. For example, the latest hairs released, I love the Platinum, quite like the Orange, but really dislike Brown. I am willing to buy YoCash to get the hairs I love, but no way will I spend coins on the others, just for the sake of getting them.

lol to the "useless reply" war :lol:

i like the tiered pricing... it allows certain elements of an outfit (and hopefully at some point in the future, furniture too
:O) ) to now be attainable to a broad range of players, unlike before. As stated by Greg on Wednesday, yocash is a necessary element to keep the game and BVG going (and knowing what we now know about about the costs involved behind the scenes, i think it's now very clear--at least to me--why even Zynga began switching over so many items to yocash in the last few years; especially with the huge number of staff they initially had).

In fact, i still wish they would entertain a "pay to play" yearly fee (which is basically what the VIP thing was about when Zynga owned it). If BVG introduced a decent yearly price for that, then continued on with the tiered pricing, i think financially things would work out better for the company AND for the players who really want to keep this game alive. {And before anyone brings up the "gold supporter" thing under my cartoony self, i'd just like to say that my income can fluctuate--in the negative--by hundreds of dollars from week to week, especially in the winter months, so i can relate to those on both sides of the financial "fence".}

I dont mind Tier pricing but when a jelly crown that looks like it took little effort to make is priced at a whopping 50 yocash I have to ask myself what actual effort is put into items?

This is the sort of hat that should cost that sort of money:

The pricing is perfectly fair, if you dont want to pay, then dont, noones making anyone and its not like you cant still play without YC items.

I'm okay with the tier pricing. Can't say I'm head over heels with joy and not really upset by it. Will have to wait and see how it all works out.
