Unreleased, yes, but hacked into the game, and sold to legitimate players by the hackers. BVG already said these legitimate players won't be punished for having such item.

Supposedly, BVG fixed this. FG items can not be traded or sold.
How are some STILL trading and selling??

because these are not fg.. they are items that have been modified... blue 2 tone pants from stores, changes into limes... they are not fg

so, they have bought whatever item they need, that when they change the item code, it becomes a rex bandana.. and can be traded because is not fg (free gift)

There were a few "hacks" going on.

it depends upon what box was used to make the items, so some Rex Bandanas are actually tagged and tradeable. The red/blue/green mystery chests were used to make some tradeable versions of the rex, hulk and obviously others...those chests stated non-refundable from the start as you can buy them with yocash.

If you remember the chests went prior to the sdb's. That's why everything became free gifts because the sdb's are free gift.

All that was done with the free gifts was change their code to another item, so whatever tag is normally associated with them, transferred to the created item.

If that makes sense.

it's not a work around.. these items show as what they where suppose to be, not what they are.. free gift is fixed.. even legitimate free gifts (like the tesla ball, barrel costume) cannot be traded...

there are modified (modded) items and they can be traded ..

So basically if you have or find a tradeable Rex Bandana, it was originally a red/green or blue mystery chest.

Also it's tradeable because the red/green/blue mystery chests are still tradeable since as I stated they are considered non-refundable in invo.
