Hey everyone!

I've seen a lot of discussion going on recently about bringing back older released items. I made a statement about this previously, however it was within a topic that's definitely no longer near the front page to be viewed.

I wanted to post this here so everyone can get a definitive answer on this subject.

Hey everyone!

As it's been stated a few times in this thread quoting Gary's interview with YoRehab, if any item has officially been released by Zynga in the past we will not be putting it back into the game. Accidental releases such as the Menorah Hat are different, as they weren't an official release.

All of your 08 and 09 costumes, retro specks, and all the other valuable items that have been released before are not going to be re-released. As Gary mentioned, we understand the value of rare items and want to keep it that way.

If you see people posting 'rumor' threads about releases coming tomorrow or next week, if it's not a post from one of us then it's exactly that, a rumor!

I hope this helps clear things up for everyone!

Now I'd like to see how grass tiles and wall pieces are justified as being lumped in with "rares". Items like those being "rare" (hence, price jacked) do a major disservice to the designers in the game. Not everyone "collects" or plays for "pixel worth".

I have to honestly say that I'm getting bored with the design aspect of the game. I know I'm not alone.

Releasing the Wild West grass and NYC walls, which should have never been taken out as they are design staples, would in no way impact collectors or the pixel rich.

Please realize that you have more than one group of spenders to cater to.

Thanks for the thread!

Think these rumours and being begging to bring items back because there hard to find and there cost much. So some people will create rumours to try to make the prices go down. Dont know if my comment is true but people do anything to get there items they want down in price.

Thanks for making this a sticky!! However, I think some people aren't going to be satisfied unless we get a video posted of Greg telling us nothing is going to be re-released while he's signing an official document stating the same thing. :lol:
