Items that are no longer in store are tradeable. Items that have never been in store....do you mean hacked/unreleased? Or starter items? Please define.

The biggest part of this game is trading for many many people. So I think people would drop off in droves if this Not currently available in stores trading block would ever come into play.
Since my attention span is so small. I wouldn't hang around waiting for the next release if there was nothing to do in the interim.
