I don't go there, but I have noticed that since the Vikings are not posting a official thread, wishlist pictures are starting to appear in signatures again. I guess they aren't getting the views or items, they use to now that all the individual posts clog up the board.

Wish list pictures always appeared in the signatures, if not pictures links to pictures. I honestly think it shouldn't be there. It should just be a contest section.

hmm I thought they stopped people from posting wishlist pictures in their signatures when they created the size limit. In fact I thought that was the reason we got a size limit because of those pictures, so many complained we had to scroll by all of it to read stuff.....

I'd agree with you. And I gift A LOT. But I never gift people with a 30 item wish list. Ever.
I gift people who I feel like need or deserve it.
I'd be completely embarrassed if I had to post a picture of 25 items to get stuff.
I'd be more embarrassed if someone in my household did it.
You don't go around in real life asking people to give you shoes or hats or wigs
so why do it in a game? I think it's in really really poor taste.
I've asked for two things in my lifetime on Yo. 1) a celtic cross when dad died (which apparently
are so rare that few have them) I didn't get that. and 2) angels.. any angels.. hoards of angels
for a doctor who themed group of rooms I am doing. (I never got any of those either)
I'm not complaining that I didn't get them but I'm saying I watch for people like me who
don't beg on the daily when I go gifting.
And all their lists are the same...
If it was one of my kids I'd take their right to play Yo away from them. They better not let
me catch them begging other players for stuff. Ever.

I would have gladly helped you out when your dad died if I had had the cross. It is a shame you did not get one.

That said, if the players posting 20-30 items on the wishlist thread enjoy their ability to do so, who am I to judge? I am not going to gift them, but dreaming that they may some day be gifted may bring them joy. I say let them have their joy and just stay away if it isn't your cup of tea. Just my point of view.

I agree Wingy, it isn't my thing, but hey if others want to make them fine with me. I just dont want to have to scroll though signatures that have picture wishlists in them when I am in discussions.....
