This is a tiny rant.

So, I posted an event selling my YoCash.

Some girl came in and politely asked me how much I charged, and how much YoCash I had.

I proceeded to tell her my rate, and told her I had a fair amount.

She told me she needed Jonnie Nose from AH, she told me it was rare, and she loved it.

I don't usually buy from AH, but I just had to see this "rare" nose. I clicked into AH and searched it, and it popped up. THERE WERE TWO NOSES JUST LIKE THAT ONE FOR UNDER 5K. The one she wanted was 50yc.

I exited AH and politely told her that there were two more in AH for under 5k, she should buy those. She proceeded to tell me that they were "not the right one" and told me she needed the YoCash one.

I kicked her.

I just want to know if she thought I was born yesterday? That nose was obviously hers, and once I bought it, she would poof because she now would have the YoCash I just purchased the nose with.

I laughed. Thought I would share.

This is the only reason I don't like yocash in the auction house due to people robbing others and thinking it's funny.

Lord have mercy. You can't be too careful nowadays. LOL

Just had another person come to my event and try the same thing.

I mean, if they're going to try to do that, they need to be a bit slicker... and make sure there aren't two of the same things they want in AH for under 5k..

Yeah, some people! I once was selling yocash & when I bought the items I needed, the girl poofed. I was so mad! People sure like to make people mad.

That's one of my biggest fears of selling YoCash in game. I usually stick to forums, but sometimes people aren't in the mood to buy YC around here, so have to resort to game.

I'm always very careful though, or I try to be!

Sigh....some people. I wouldn't buy from the AH for anyone I didn't know....way too easy to be taken advantage of. Glad you're a smart one and didn't fall for it!

Yes, I've never had an experience from the sort, because I normally don't deal YC, but am saving up for something. Good thing I had heard from some friends the kind of nasty tricks people pull!

Me too, it's difficult to find reliable people among this game nowadays if they aren't on forums, y'know? I find that the most polite people are around here!

Yes, I agree. Normally when I go to buy anything, or sell, it's usually on here.. Can't trust many in game..

thanks for sharing this information. I would never had thought of doing something like that, but then again, i'm honest, in game and out of game.

I quit selling yocash many years ago because it just seemed there was one problem after another with another yo. I buy yocash strictly for
myself now.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...if you're going to deal YoCash you have to put a firm rule on it: No Auction House. It's really that simple, folks. Let me say it one more time: No Auction House.

I keep seeing this time and time and time again. Don't get scammed....stick with the stores.
