Chrome doesn't work for me to do this.....Firefox does.

I really think it depends on the combination of system and browser.
Cool Novo is like a lite version of Chrome.
Download it from a trusted site.

Then, while in edit:
Left Click the item. Hold that down. Right click the item.
Click the spot you want to place it and release the right click.
You can rotate the item but you can't scoot it or move it again.

It takes some practice but soon you'll get it in the right place every time.
