In the same boat. Was saving for a rainy day I guess...........never really needed the coins so I hoarded the boxes. Tried to open 3 yesterday and it was a no go...............IDK when it "broke" because I've opened a few here and there for coins or widget stuff. :roll:

To answer your question..........I just started saving them ages ago. If I open them and "see" the coins, I'd be more apt to spend them. Out of sight, out of mind.
I even sent BVG an email a few weeks ago asking about the sd boxes and was assured that (and I quote)

"In regards to your inquiry, the energy and special delivery boxes do have some issues at the moment, and our team of developers is working diligently to fix these for future game updates. We will be bringing these back once they are fixed."
So, now IDK. All we can do is hope that there WAS a problem for some and it is now just catching up to the rest of us and will be fixed eventually.

its a bit odd that they suddenly stopped opening, as far as sending them I couldn't send or receive for quite a few months before sunset was even stated, so I hung onto what I had.

I was able to open all of mine awhile ago... dont fret...I trust BVG after everything they have done to save this game...I trust that they will get to all the issues we have seen. Just hang onto them for a little longer

yah, hopefully very soon we'll be able to open them again, along with the colored ones too.. I'd love to get them out of my inventory lol
