Some buy YoCash and sell it to the people that can't afford to buy it for coins.
Others collect and sell collectibles and other items.

Heh jokes aside, Mama sometimes they put timers on items and remove them from stores. When that happens, buy some items from that theme. After a while thet will gain value and you can sell them to other players for a profit.

Also the more neighbors you have the more you make in the factory. I've been selling a lot of older items in the AH too.
