I had a cat named Moni, which is short for Monica.
I'd always wanted a cat,and she was a surprise birthday gift from my upstairs neighbor.
Sadly at only 3 years old someone ran Moni over.
Moni loved food, especially my food, that she wasn't supposed to eat.
So my idea was to create an entire castle with cats and tigers dedicated to her,and making sure that each of the rooms had some kind of food in them
Also I had Robyn hand draw this double-whiteboard with a photo of Moni. It's in another of my houses.

This is a sweet thing to do for your kitty. My dog, Betty's best friend KiKi passed away a year ago and she's been completely lost without her. I've not done a doggie memorial, though I've done about 10 other memorials. These past few years have been trying for me. I've lost about 10 friends and family. It does something to you. It makes you hard but soft. It makes you sad but happy to remember. It guts you and then it rebuilds you. It makes you more compassionate but then the anger surfaces when you least expect it. I hope this can spark conversations about how other people have coped through YoWorld.
