Holy moly! 14k for the new Summer glasses and about 19-24 YoCash for certain new items? That is expensive. I know I can afford them, but how can the new players or players who do not make a lot of money or by coins or YoCash?

Just like in real life if you can't afford it you can't have it.

when I started playing I had the same dilemma.

Before we did not even get coin accessories.

So happy to see new clothes and new hair, thank you so much. However, I do not wear or like wrinkled clothing...maybe it's just me, but many of the new items, shorts, pants and shirts look bunched up or something.

If all the usual items were still YC, how would they be able to afford them then?
I figure if all the glasses were 8yc, at a 30:1 rate, that's 240k for 1 pair.
I think the 14k is a steal myself.

i could never afford the expensive items when i first started playing, save up and work hard... once the games starts earning more and cash flow evens out im sure prices will drop too

They are being nice to give coin dominated players a chance to spend their coins on an alternative item that is also available for yocash. That is something we seldom ever saw with Zynga. It also gives new players a bit of a challenge to earn these new coin items which in part help new players feel a bit included with the latest fashion, even if they aren't sucked in to the game as to buy yocash yet.

With the state of the game BVG could've just as easily made ALL accessories yocash no matter what, ut instead they're trying to be a bit more diverse. 14k is a pretty penny for a new player, but I can see it as a small/healthy goal to make for them as well.

I agree. A lot of items are a steal these days when there is a coin version featured along with the rest that are yocash. I actually feel a bit weird to be able to get one of the same items that is yocash in other colors. it almost feels like a cheat! lol

I agree. The accessories have every right to be yocash, (in my opinion) where, often now they're coins. and yet people still complain somehow. I really can't understand that. It's truly beyond. BVG is cheating themselves in a sense. But I do understand why they've made the choice they have, with tier-pricing. I just wonder if it's a smart long-term approach. I personally don't mind when most things are yocash.

I think that is why they are not putting a clock on anything, so they have time to create away for players to start earning coins again. But the game really is way more new player friendly then say when I started, at least those Angels who have the coins can help new players fit it better and feel part of the game without using their own yc to do it.

they have hair in the stores for coinage. when i started i had to buy the rental hair. our starter furniture was nothing compared to what the the new players have now.

With the way BVG are pricing their stuff I am SAVING myself yc instead of spending it. If I don't need the yc version I am happy with the coins one especially if the most popular colours are coins! It works for me but I hope BVG know what they are doing in the long term.

Very true statements... I believe that some of the items are a steal. I'm not used to YC to coin scenario. Also, to point out to someone saying BVG maybe cheating themselves, maybe they're trying a strategy for players to maybe buy coins too? Since YC is their main money maker, they may want people to start buying coins.

I'm hoping there's a method to their madness...I too find myself buying the coin items instead of the YC ones. I feel sorta guilty about that so then I find myself buying something for YC just because I feel bad! LOL

But this is a game and that's the thing: Why would someone want to continue playing the game if they can't afford the "good" stuff? Especially if you're new.
