it would not matter if they had adult/kid servers. kids/adults can still get on our servers. its the parents job to watch what there kids do on the internet.

There is nothing to do about this, the internet is already dangerous with full of pervs and pedos. Internet can destroy your life completely and you can't trust no body.

it really is, most parents give there kids computers for there rooms, to entertain them. i have my computer in my livingroom to watch what my son doing on the net

this post made my brain hurt.

i fully agree thats its the parents responsibility but i really do think the kids should be on there own server. just my point of view

Yep! Me too. My daughter said I was "the meanest mother in the whole world!" My response? "You bet I'm mean. That's my job - to keep you safe." She thanks me now that she's an adult.

I hate that adults are using Yo to prey on children. It makes me sick. But having separate servers for kids won't keep them safe because the pedophiles have no scruples. They will make a kid profile to get on the kid server. It's actually safer now - at least there are plenty of adults around to report suspicious activity.

I think you'll find its a parents job to educate children in proper internet usage.
I've played this game since I was 11 because my parents had actually told me about the goings on of the Internet.

It's common sense (or what should be) not to give out such personal information to someone over the Internet.

This girl at the age of 15 should know just to report and block.

It goes both ways. I do worry about kids in the game because I've seen perverts and it is not only males that I've seen acting all sick. I've even seen kids younger than 13 in the game. Very very dangerous but then again, how can BVG stop it? Wish this didn't happen, it's real sad seeing old no lifers hitting on young people.

Firstly give the younger generation some credit, they are not all idiots. As a mother of teenagers it is my job to protect my kids not BVG. Furthermore perverts get everywhere, this is why it is so important to educate kids so they are not 'naive or gullibe'

And further more there is no such thing as an adult server anymore...

Welcome to mixed servers .

I don't feel like seperating the servers would really fix anything. No one in game knows anyones name, age, or remote location unless the person chooses to disclose this. I feel like maybe if there was a quick announcement like a pop up in game for everyone who used to be on kids server, it could just be a friendly reminder to be safe. I know it's not BVGs "job" but ya know? It might help a bit.

Separate servers will not stop these creeps, as they can always make another account to access the kid's server. In fact it'll make it all the more easier for them to distinguish kids from adults.

kids/adult server does nothing.There are tons of kids playing on adults server.I have saw tons of 10 year old on adult server.Parents shuold take care for their kids what they do on the internet.I used to play a lot on the computer,but then my dad limited my computer on 4 hours and when i go to school for 1 hour so i can learn more.After 1 hour expires the whole computer shuts down.I think this should be used by more parents.It is a really helpful thing for parents.

Not every parent cares about their kid. Majority does but there's not enough technology knowledge from people that are around 50 years old and up. I am not trying to put everyone in a box but what I mean is, even though I am 20, my mom has basically no technology information. Sure, I always knew better but some kids don't. Also, some parents don't even understand the consequences of kids on the internet. It's sad but true, we can't blame it on their parents or the kids if they don't know any better. I do understand that there's not much BVG can do which is what frustrates me.

I'm sorry, but that's not completely true (Bolded). It is partly the teenagers/child's guardians responsibility to know what're they're doing on the internet as well as teaching them the risks of the internet but it's also up to the teenagers/children to decide what're they're going to release publically, personally I never release any details about my life because I like to keep to myself and like some others have said above me, the internet can ruin lives, if the teenagers/children cannot maintain themselves properly with people on the internet then they shouldn't be on it at all. Being an old forumer has taught me a major life lesson, which is: No one cares what age you are, if you show them that you're weak enough to say something that can be used against you, they will use it against you.

If teenagers/children are smart enough to know what to do then they should know to report the player/person and to tell their parents. If this was me and things got a little extreme and I found the person I’d take legal action.
