I love to help out new players. However, a lot of them seem to have the old apartments. I was just wondering if they did away with the newer apartments?

A few months ago when you first started you could choose between I think 3 different ones. Luxury,50's and the regular one.

You're welcome..don't feel bad..you just didn't know. I didn't for a long time till my husband started his then I was jealous because he got a choice..lol

My 63 year old mother started playing a few months ago when BVG took over. She had a choice of three different apts too.. the luxury one was quite nice. She went with the 50's one. Apparently we still have different tastes...lol.

Now I am jealous hahaha.. I want a 50's apartment...very curious what they look like.

What are yall talking about? lol........choice of apts?? I knew (or thought I knew) that new players got to choose between 3 different furnishings, but apts? I never heard of that.

OMG me too! I made my boyfriend try the game out and I seen that you could choose different places I was like ugh!! NO FAIR! lol i started out with a crappy wooden table and a couch that looked like it was the most uncomfortable thing.

I remember thinking the sofa with the attached table was the greatest thing lol

tbh that apartment looks nicer than the ones we got, it just fills up your inventory with crap you cant sale.

Me too!! I loved how we could place a lamp or a plant on it lol. I Feel like digging mine out of storage and actually using it somewhere now!

I was very surprised considering some of that stuff went for a lot of coin or yocash. BUT i did not notice that the apt itself was changed? Was it?

I'm all for helping new players too. However, I always check their badges. If they have good badges and claim to be new, I don't gift..

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for helping people, but only those I feel deserve it! (: I think you get a choice when joining.. However, I don't know if the old layout is one of those options. (To me the 'old layout' means 2008 wooden furniture. Is that what you're referring to?)

The apartment is the same, just the furniture is different. Same layout and all. Mom started playing a bit ago.

I think they are referring to the choice of furnishings and not a choice of apartment layout. In this case 'old apartments' means 'old furnishings'. (I may be wrong, but I believe this is what other are talking about.)

Actually, the choices are 50s, Luxury and Modern.

So if they have the old wooden furniture, the account is old and they're not likely to be a new player.
