HEY GUYS! I have a suggestion that would mean so much to a lot of people. It would be amazing if you, at BVG would make a Tribute to the Troops theme! There are so many war heroes on yoworld, and war hero families out there that I think it would be greatly appreciated to each one of them if you created a theme like that. I, for one, would find it very meaningful if you guys would please do that.

I am not from the US and the theme would not offend me.Actually I'd love to see a theme to support the troops.

We've had Memorial Day each year with lots of uniforms and war gear. I think it would be offensive just to make a war hero theme by itself, especially if you're living in a country that the US declared war upon without UN agreement. Tis a slippery slope.

well we need more things like that. because it's been 2 years since we've had that. besides that, we can't remember the troops just on 2 days per year. it has to be more than 2 days every year. the soldiers do so much for us every year and we only remember them 2 days out of the entire year. that's not fair to them.

The US hasn't formally declared war upon anyone since Paris Peace Treaty (February 10, 1947)

WWII

Not sure how that would offend anyone today.

Then take that up with the Federal Government.

Every country has soliders, many of them put their lives on their line each day.
Truly wouldn't be fair for just a USA war hero theme, also you can remember them everyday why do we need an event or theme to remember those we have lost.

We've had themes like that in the past. I am not American as in from the USA but it wouldn't offend me to have a soldiers theme. I would just buy any items that I like and ignore the rest. No big deal.

As a non American. I'm sick of war and romanticizing of it. Enough with this love affair with it.

[b][i][color=#FF0000]Seems if it isn't something to do with Star Wars, Witches or the Undead, it ain't fit to do in YoWorld anymore! What's wrong with you people? Don't you remember how many died for you (and I ain't talking about on TV!) They lost their lives for YOU. You wouldn't be able to express your opinion if it weren't for them; you couldn't assemble in groups; if not for them. And most of all, we'd probably be speaking another language by now if they hadn't given their lives for YOU! Remember, those who forget history are doomed to repeat it!

Maybe we should just stay away from this theme
Just the idea of it is already causing an up roar

We have to remember here that the United States isn't the only country that plays this game.

Perhaps it would be more neutral to do a "Support Our Troops" theme without the designation of
Country or Origin.

When you say "What's wrong with you people?" we have to remember that "you people" could
be anyone from any country. While I love where I live and think it's the greatest place on the planet
I'm sure that others feel their country is also the greatest place on the planet.

There's nothing "wrong" with "you people" except for the fact that they do not share
a military bond nor a patriotic feeling towards our country.

No, the only thing wrong with them is lack of patriotism. Is it my fault I have a deep undying love for my country, my country's flag, and my country's spirit? I'm afraid it's ingrained in me from early on; I learned about my county's beginnings, it's fight to be free, and it's ongoing fight to stay free, no matter who tries to take that away from me! I really don't care what other country's think about me, or my country. I just know, deep in my heart, that my feelings about the men and women that fought so I can say what I want, do what I want and go my own way. And if you or anyone else doesn't like it, then get the hell out of my way!

Personally I would have no interest in this theme. A - it has been done before, in other themes. B- I'm a New Zealander, and would rather support our own troops. I buy Poppies in game any time I see them. D- war is an uninteresting theme for me period. I prefer peace and all that rainbow happiness.

Trust me Countries don't think about you. I lack no patriotisim to my own nation. I am a proud Kiwi. I support our troops. But I don't see why you would want me to buy a theme supporting American troops. Wake up and smell the coffee. Its Yoworld, not YoAmerica. And now the company who owns the game is Canadian. Maybe they want to support their own troops. Try to share the toys in the box and understand, people from around the world play. I would prefer more globally neutral themes.
