regarding the high prices for items that are obviously made to make us spend money
in the game i consider to open the old themes ( which we all can see still in store).
I am sure many of us would buy this stuff to finish different homes.

I would love them to give us back the old stuff Mac, but unfortunately, it isn't going to happen. I guess we will get similar, I hope so. I saw absolutely no point closing out the themes that they did

Greg and Gary AGREE with having rare items in the game. Read their topic on their sticky thread.
Unless EVERY player wants the themes opened then I'd agree but that isn't the case.

i am not talking about rare items, Greg wrote that high prices are made for
bringing back a certain economy. But many dont buy the new items so my idea is
to reopen themes which are visibile in store.

Again if its not fair to EVERYONE then it shouldn't be done. These threads have been plenty and nothing has happened.

Yes many have bought the new items..........Even Gary said they did well with all the unreleased stuff and will probably continue releasing them as long as they are making $ ......

Also many of them themes DO have rare items, almost all themes have items that turn out to be popular and rare.

I agree with this. I cant get anything I want or need from the old themes, and I dont enjoy the new items. I was prepared to keep supporting BVG but since I can't get what I want it's no longer fun for me. I will take the $40 or so I spend a month and go out for a nice dinner with my daughter instead. It was time to go back to real life anyways. Sorry they made this decision. Im not complaining, just stating for the record why I won't be spending money anymore.

So many of these threads at the moment its unbelievable in my opinion. Most players see their items from older themes to be rares because they are no longer obtainable from the store and there's only a certain amount of them out there. Saying the items aren't rares because you can still see the expired theme is just wrong. It's the fault of Zynga keeping the expired themes visable in store as they stopped caring and went on a money grabbing spree.

It's the items no longer being available that makes them rare and I see a vase from last year as equally rare to one of my vases from the 08/09 suburban theme and I can't wait for BVG to finally clean the store and remove those themes (like they've stated a few times that they will) so threads like this can stop.

Also for those 'leaving' because they can't get older items they 'want' just to point out that to me it sounds like a 2 year old having a tantrum in a shop because their mum won't buy them the toy they just saw and want
