I need to vent..

I'm so tired of people coming to my events asking to buy things and then poofing and sticking me with them! Why do people do that? It's so rude! It's always cars or music players that nobody wants to buy so I can't resell. I try to be nice and share my yocash if I don't spend it all on myself so that people who can't afford to buy their own have a chance to get the new stuff too. I try to stick with the going rate, I'm not over charging. Grr these people are making me want to say forget it and keep it all to myself!

Okay. Carry on. Thanks for listening!

I think it's better to sell in the trading section of the forums. Peeps don't usually do that over there. :) I hate getting stuck with stuff.

It happens to me too and it's the reason that I won't deal yocash to anyone other than people I know or people from the forums.

Maybe limit your buying to new items, one at a time so you do not get stuck with cars and other hard to resell items. Nice that you help, bytes that someone does this, why I never sold yc.. edit.. not being bossy, sounds like it though sorry just meant I would not buy big yc items, jealousy that you have yc to sell probably drives most people to cheat someone.

When I want something I head to forums, to easy to call someone out in a thread for cheating them and then everyone knows their id number and they cannot delete their post lol could not do it to often.

Haha I didn't think you sounded bossy! It's good advice. I'll probably have to start doing that. A few weeks ago I got stuck with 20 three musketeers chairs. It happens too often now.

This has been done to me...so i understand how you feel.
but what i have done is the real people i have sold yocash to nowadays is on my buddy list. i dont sell publicly...they know i buy yc once a week and if i have any left after i have bought items for myself i always go to them asking if they want some or not. I do not have a problem with if they say no either. sometimes they ask for new and old stuff but as i said they have been around for a long time. they are great people too. So maybe just stick with the people that have been really good to you aswell.
Just a thought anyways :D

This used to happen to me a lot during the Zynga era. I no longer purchase YC so i don't have to worry now.

At least in the forums the buyer is identified. They can't just kick you or change their name - because you have their number! (pardon the pun)

Yes, only sell it in the Trade forums. Then when I do, I quote their request in my response. That way they can't edit it and claim something else. In fact, in my opinion, it's a good idea to always reply with the other person's offer in quotes. That way prices can't change.

I've had that happen a long time ago in old forums. I asked price of item for sale. Seller told me a price. (It was a fair price, I wasn't getting it for a too low price.) Then when get to trade, the price is significantly higher. They said that was the price they had told me. I went back to the forums and they had edited their post and upped the price.

Another thing I do (which a lot of people have suggested here in the forums already) is to only buy one item at a time for a client wanting multiple items.

So sorry this happened to you. Good luck in future trades. It's sad we have to think this way of not trusting people, but it's business.

Sorry this has happened to you.
Maybe try offering to deal Yocash in the Forum's trading section.
Especially if a forumer is not brand new, they are usually concerned with their reputation on the boards, and wouldn'd dare to anger people purposely.
