Well, my sister wasn't aware that people can hack into your facebook by sending you phishing links and things like that..
She had a friend on facebook that sent her a link and her entire facebook was taken over and locked.
Now it's asking for photo identification from like a drivers license and stuff like that.
It's ridiculous she's young she didn't know about that and shouldn't have to deal with this stuff.

Is it possible to transfer her account? I mean she plays daily and contributes a lot.
She had no idea, I hate to see her crying about this.
Please BVG, get her account back or transfer it.

I will email about this matter also, but would love a response on here.

Very sad, all your sister can do is not click on fake links, put it down to lesson learned.

It's still ridiculous.

There's no warnings anywhere on Yoworld that say "Don't click links" or at least I don't think there is.
She didn't get phished, all she did was click the link.
I guess it was a java drive by or something like that.

Probably put a keylogger on the PC.
It's beyond ridiculous.

Greg posted the other week on the old community page about dodgy phishing links.

She didn't even know there was a community page.
They should have made a warning IN Yoworld.

You know what I mean? Like the TOS message that pops up when starting the game up every once in a while.
There should be one stating "Watch out for links" or something like that.

Sorry to hear about your sister's account.
It's better she's learned that lesson now that she's young as opposed to when she's older and has credit cards, bank information, or other such things posted online that can get hacked. It happens to adults too. I'm always having to tell my mom "that's not a real email from Ebay, don't click ANYTHING. Ever".
With that being said.
I'm sure she's heartbroken about losing her Facebook account.

Facebook is pretty much automated. There's not a customer support line that you can call. I know this because I had an issue with someone taking out an ad (in Japanese no less) and attached me to the thing somehow and it was charging the card I had attached to my FBook for YoCash. I had to go to the bank and cancel the card because I couldn't convince anyone that I'm not from Japan much less able to create a website in Japanese for an ad.

Hopefully your sister can start a new Facebook page and start over in YoWorld. Which really really stinks and I'm sorry to hear about that but maybe if she listed a few of her favorite items some nice people here will help her get started back up with some of her favorite stuff or some cash.

Very true, sad she has to go through this but same thing happened to me when I was her age on Yoworld.
I fell for the fake zynga email hacking jigg that was going on.
Oh well.
I'm giving her what I got so she can start again.

I'm really sorry this happened to your sister, although I disagree that it's up to BVG to warn users about basic internet security. If she's on the net, then you or your parents may seize this opportunity for a teaching moment. It's really important because losing one's account is small potatoes compared to what else could happen without basic internet security.

Its not their fault though, dont blame them for not refunding her account. They can just tell you that their sorry it happened to her.

I never said it was their fault.
Lesson learned, I think it's ridiculous though.
I seriously hope someone reads this and doesn't click links in the future.

She could send in a school ID if she doesn't have an actual ID. There's many forms of identification that they offer to take, all they really need is the name off something official. There's nothing BVG can do sadly about the account. They've expressed several times on the facebook page about not clicking links and if you do happen to do so there's nothing they can do about it.

If she is who she is then getting the account back isn't an issue. Send in something and she will get it back within an hour or so.

Good luck

Its a bit mean to say oh well lesson learned.. Not like the poor girl just lost a few items, or got diddled. She's lost the WHOLE lot.

I hope she gets some assistance.

I'm not really sure how they got into her account, no passwords were saved on the computer.
I have read through the TOS.
Not sure what you mean by "help" but she's still upset.
She can't even log into her facebook account anymore so it's all gone.
TY though.
