Do you my friends on Yo have much experience playing other online games? Before I begin, I want to say that this is in no way a drama thread or meant with any disrespect to anyone. I will do my best to keep this short. lol. I will only comment on the "free" games I have played as they are the ones that are comparable to Yo.

I have plenty of experience with them and this is only an example of what I have found. Pricing: Omg. Most of those games are way above the prices of game currency than Yo is. You get way less for 100 U.S. dollars than you do in this game. Anything under that you may as well forget it. Your lucky to purchase more that one item if you spend under 100.

Tickets: Try a month or more at the least for a response. To get it resolved, you're doing good at 6 weeks. No joke.

Items players want in game: Many times at least a year before you see some of the new items players asked for. Again, 6 months and your VERY lucky.

In game glitches: I think nearly every game update I have seen has come with several glitches. It usually takes 1 to 2 months for another update to fix them. Most of the time that is not all the glitches either.

These are only a FEW examples of what I have seen from several large gaming companies. (Much larger than BVG). These are also games they have owned for years so they are well versed in the coding etc. and not dealing with someone else's. Yes, they may have more games, however, a much bigger staff to go with that.

This is why I am extremely impressed with our owners. I have never had such a wonderful team of people working so hard on any game I have ever played. This is based on my own gaming experience and the total truth.

I am curious if some of you that are not happy with some of the issues you are having have had similar experiences as mine? Or is this the only game like this you play? I totally agree that things are not perfect, yet I have NEVER played a game that is. lol. It just seem like there are so many complaint threads that I wonder if people are expecting way too much and in some cases, way too soon?

I totally agree with everything you said. I don't understand why some people expect a perfect game in a couple of months. It's not magic, it takes a long time.

I guess some just don't have any patience.

 Wow, people just don't like to read anymore. I have to totally agree with the OP but there's something that needs to be understood... there will always, always, always be negative people here who are never happy with an.y.thing. Guaranteed.

I've not played too many other games... a few here and there. I've tried many but never stuck with them, for all the reasons you mentioned and more.

Focus was always on NEW features and content, never on upkeep.

Costumer service is always lacking.

I was rather baffled by how many other gaming companies used players as a test market, financially. Meaning, everyone was paying something different to play. An item might cost 100 game currency for one player and 500 for another, buying the same item.

BVG has impressed me so far as well. They have far surpassed any expectation I had for the takeover. Not that I really had any, lol. But I am liking what I see. Can't wait for more.

I've played online games for the past 9-10 years or so,not all have been mmorpg but some of them have, none of them compare to yoville/world and I wouldn't go back to them.
Some of them had game breaking glitches others had minor glitches some had hardly any.

I've tried several other "virtual world" games over the years. I never played any of them much, usually only played when yo was down. I liked some of them ok, but never spent any money or much time on them, so probably not enough to compare. Yo's been really the only game for me and still is, issues or not.

As for people complaining, it grates on my nerves too. People don't seem to understand that cleaning up a mess as large as Zynga left won't happen overnight. I think those who are griping and whining about every single thing are probably kids as they don't seem to have any understanding of business lol. It's all, "I'm entitled and I want what I want NOW!" Or they are self-centered adults who think the world revolves around them. Constructive feedback is one thing but I want to smack the people who make threads like "omg the new stuff is so ugly and sucks!"

Edited to add: I'm very happy with BVG and YoWorld so far. Bur even if I weren't, I'd have the patience to wait for everything to come together. It's only been 2 months since the transfer.

There is only one other virtual world I continue to frequent and will for a very long time, but it is so very different than Yo. For as much as I loathed Zynga, Yo always lured me back. I guess that is really the genius of that Greg guy at work. He had vision. It's so very cool that the game is back under the watchful eye of that same vision.

This is a unique and incredible game. Far as online games go. Excluding console games of course.
