I wish there was a way to ensure that children would be safe however when the servers were split before I noticed that a bunch of little ones would pop into the adult server so it wouldn't do much good.

I thought I read somewhere that BVG will not do this because of the cost factor... however, I may be wrong.

I played on adults starting when I was 14 in 2009. Never did I ever encounter any predators or any other nonsense. I don't see a use for splitting them up really. Adults and kids are both immature and ridiculous as a whole so why not just keep them together?

I say keep it how it is, easier to meet people, and if some of my friends are on kids server I dont want to loose them.

I would love to see a split server but in real terms this wouldn't be effective as it wasn't previously in preventing adults getting onto the kids server and kids getting onto the adults. It would be nice if we had age verification features within the game though...

Yes I read the same thing. So I think it's safe to say that it isn't in the plans.
To be honest, I do not see any difference between how it was when the servers were split and now that they aren't. It is an ideal situation if there weren't ways around it though.

When a kid joins fb if they know to lie about their age that puts them on an adult server. And if they do not lie, they find out how to get on the adult servers and just start another fb acct so the expense of splitting the servers is pointless. It would be a waste of money and time.

Seriously? This again? Another flogging the dead horse topic.

Here's my advice...when you meet cool peeps in Yo, don't ask their age, because that way it won't bother you and you won't need to fret about it. I don't know the ages of 95% of the people on my buddy list and I don't particularly care.

On the other hand if you encounter someone in Yo who bothers you, don't automatically assume they are young. Just block them and move on and have a nice day.

I agree with most comments, there just isn't a point. Often kids would lie about their age in order to make themselves old enough to make a facebook account which means we often ended up with teenagers on the adult server before they should be anyway. Also even when the servers were split there was still an incident a while back that made it into the news when Zynga ran things so it definitely didn't work to avoid that situation.

In this day and age though it's well known that youngsters should be careful online and some parents monitor their kids online activities.

I hope they don't split it. I hang with many within my age group, but theres some younger ones on my buddy-list that are so enjoyable to be with :cry:

Also, before it was difficult for me to buy items using the fb trading center... since most were on kid servers, had to use the darn Auction House to buy stuff (so complicated.. for me LOL :lol:
