As you can probably tell, I'm a little confused about the different folders when I go to the PM tab. What is the difference between outbox and sent messages? I'd like to ensure all my PMs were properly sent and received, and these two different categories are boggling my mind...

Outbox is before they've read the message. Once they've read the message, it goes to the sent folder.

It basically tells you when they've read your message.
