Does anyone know any techniques in order to get furniture into the black spaces in your apt?

I cant do it in chrome, so i switch to firefox to edit the black.

Right and Left click mouse at the exact same time and then immediately click on the area you want the item to go. It takes a little practice but it works for me

Chrome is super easy.

Click both buttons on the item in your inventory. It has to be from inventory and not in room. You might have to click both buttons a few times, but when it kinda pops up, you're ready.

Then just left click to place where you like, rotate as you like and save.

Remember the item has to start in your inventory, so if you miss the spot you want it, just keep trying.

Super easy.

Is there a way to do this with a Mac? (no left/right clicking)

This does not work for me at all. I have a chromebook and the items just go back in my inventory.

Type in about:plugins in your browser and hit enter. On the page that pops up go to Adobe. You might have to expand the page to see all. "Disable" the file that has "pepperflash" in it.
Relaunch Yo. You can now click into the black spaces again. ;)
Re-enable the pepperflash when you're done. It can make other things a little wonky. ;)

Get a mouse with the left and right buttons. I'm on a macbook and it's hard with the trackpad, but you can "throw" items in with a little practice. The mouse is cheap and will eliminate carpal tunnel lol

I got really good at just tossing pieces that were new to the room, sometimes straight out of the store and hoping the would stick and most of the time they did but you had to be quick when doing it. I wish we could get carpet, wood and pretty much just matching tiles to some of the floors and wp's in the yo-depot so we can go into the corners with a seamless look.
