Has anyone attempted to create one? If you have I would love to see some pictures. I want to make a room and I love covered bridges!

I was debating one for sleepy hallow page the problem being the angle of the bridge itself dictates the perspective of the landscape.

I was looking at trying one because I read a book by Joe Hill called Nos4a2(or something like that, I am not sure exactly) and I wanted to do a scene from that. I thought maybe the paranormal shadows for depth and the modern farmhouse(maybe) slanted ceiling thing... I havent bothered yet because if I am anything, I am the laziest of the lazy!!

Well I painted a couple many years ago, but I haven't a clue how it would be done in Yo. Lots of panels and beams I'm guessing. But as indicated, I'm sure the layering would be a nightmare. :dizzy:

Well if I had hair I would definitely have pulled it out LOL! Still not happy with it, but finding pieces that layer properly is insane! I give mad props to you yo designers that do this stuff all the time. I don't know how you stay sane! Is this kind of what you meant? I tried to make it look like one we used to cross when I was kid visiting family in rural PA!

Did a quickie :haha: and did not save it. So i am not sure the layering would stay like that.

It was not easy to layer in the first place. Maybe i'll try another time. It is time for my bed now  :sleepy:

*snicker* at quickie LOL! Hmmm didn't think to try those roof items. That's good idea. I hear ya on layering though. Ughh! I wish they would let us choose what layers in front of what, would make things so much easier!

I love how you did that roof! I had such hard time finding things. Those roof tiles I use only place 2 directions too, so had to place tree to cover part of it :(

A few weeks of layering pulling apart, walking away from my computer because I got mad at not being able to get the effect I wanted and then finally done :haha: :haha:

I spent a few hours of that lunacy earlier, and I went nuts! You are my hero, that was a lot of space to work once, then to have to redo it.

Made this one a few years back out of a trailer. You pass through the bridge to the farmer's market. There is also a country road. Never got around to doing anything with the bathroom. Leaving a link in case you'd like to visit in person. Love the creativity y'all!
