Ouch, it looks like someone goofed with too many numbers! I guess the comas work if you pay attention to them!

This what i been trying to say all along people not paying attention on the bidding when you click the amount you want to bid an pop up will show on how much they wanna bid but people dont look but press agree even with the new AH update still happening because the timers are almost finish and they wanna win but this has 6 mins so BVG provided us with the updates and it us players that need to learn not to rush things. This how mistakes happen!

Double Ouch! :( Hate seeing that. This is one reason I usually lose when bidding on no buyout options. I take my time and triple check my amount. Then I get a too late notice LOL!

I agree! I see this all the time where there is still plenty of time left on the auction and there is no need to rush a bid!

 ... and for all we know that bid could have been put on half hour, or even an hour or so, ago!

No, I was checking these hairs and this particular listing still had 10 minutes to go on the timer with a bid of approx. 358K!

i don't think it matters what "safeguards" bvg puts into ah to enhance bidding or to make mistakes harder to occur. people are people, some see something they are under the impression they cannot live without, get excited and then simply don't pay attention to what their fingers do. it usually only takes one mistake to wake a yo up to the fact to slow down and pay extra attention to what they're doing especially when their yocoins and yocash are involved.

oh wow... still an awful mistake to make when there are so many minutes left. i wouldn't pay that much for it anyway! i buy my hairs in AH for around 100,000

Oh that sucks. o_o

It's not a horrible hair but I don't find it so special or pretty that it'd be worth that much.

It's possible that the person didn't over bid and is the same person who put it in AH to transfer coins from their alt acct .I know some people who have alt accts who will transfer their coins this way. It happens all the time. I do hope it wasn't someone who made a mistake when putting in their bid.

The comas only work on the AH pages. If you place a bid from your list of items you are bidding on, there are no comas. They may want to add them there and also would be nice on the listing page, because when you list they dont show either.

Happened to me in the last few weeks. Ended up paying $5M more than I intended. It's kept me out of auction house for awhile.
