I would love an option to be able to gift someone some coins when visiting their apartment. This would be very beneficial to those who can't meet up with their contest winners.

Of course there would have to be certain rules and I'm sure some people would probably say they never received anything, but you're going to have that.

I think the idea is good in novelty... but that is what the trading is for

and I also see this going wrong in so many ways

You don't like the idea of randomly going to someone's place and leaving them so and so amount, so when they login the next time, they see a notification they have been gifted so and so amount?

It will have its flaws, but so does everything.

Too many would say they didn't buy coins via pay pal, they were gifted. I can hear the not my fault and not fair already. ;)

My point of view is that I don't like the whole gifting coins feature because i think people will do many accounts to transfer their money, also i don't think it's safe if someone get ie. on my account because they will scam me with the same way.

If i want to gift someone i will not gift them money i will gift them stuff but to tell you the truth i only gift people i know as my friends because i don't trust to gift someone new since i can't know if they are really new players or scammers.

That's my opinion don't get me wrong, other people maybe will like this feature.

They have stated that they got rid of the "Same I.P Trading" error.
You are able to trade within your I.P now, only because people still found ways to get around it
Furthermore, there should be no reason anyone gets on your account,
"hackers" can not access it unless you click punishing links, and or give away your info.
There is always flaws with certain ideas, but all and all, it sounds like a good idea.

There are other priorities development-wise... that particular example you outline is something that can be accomplished with a trade and there's no one complaining.

This isn't something that I feel is needed. It's just an option that I think would be very fun. Gifting physical items shouldn't be the only option and I love surprising people.

I also feel bad when I can't meet up with winners of my contests!

I wouldn't want players to just be able to add coins to my account. Too many coin sellers/haters/players who want to justify selling coins.

When I admined for pages, we had a rule that the contest winners had to be available within 24 hours when contest closed to claim prize.

Nah. That would make shifting coins from alt to alt too easy. At least those breaking the rules have to pop for the 10% in the auction house. :)
