I can see that at Christmas we probably will get more curated classics and nothing new if they can do this for Halloween, one of the most popular holidays. I can't believe it. Don't they make enough money off casino plus our buys to care enough for their customers to do this for us?

you're probably right on christmas, miss nita. i don't mind the curated classics because i've never done a "light" halloween before this one and welcome the items i didn't buy the first time they were offered. i now accept yo as it is offered because imho a game should be fun and not upsetting or stressful. i can get all the upset and stress i want in real life so games for me must be fun, light and enjoyable or i won't play them. so i accept yo as it is now offered and find my fun where and when i can. it just works out best for me this way. i keep all things negative to a dull roar in my real life and gaming life. life's much more plesant being that way for me.

The Yo that created sufficient new content for themes no longer exists. BVG has no choice but to sell us old stuff to help fill out the houses they make. I guess it is better than nothing, but I'm quite fine and used to nothing now. It is amazing how freeing having zero expectations can be. Often BVG meets that bar for me, but sometimes I am pleasantly surprised with an item here or there.

But as far as themes go......this game is a hot pile of meh now. I am Emperor Of The Vocal Minority and my kingdom has been banished from Yo....all hail the Queen Of The Pink Castle.........

OK

while we love fresh content

I’m more focused on quality over quantity

Here is my thinking on this …. please hear me out

How many lamps, coffee cups etc do they need to create ? — as many as we will buy right?

however, some items already created work so well within the selected theme - why waste staff to re-create

when we can free up staff to make more exciting and fresh ideas = right?

however, when they have this free time and they fail to deliver - that is for me the area of frustration

a friend and I spent 20 mins yesterday looking for an animated table - that was interactive that I could put in the foray of the VP2024 home

The content we got was great; but it was incomplete based on early themes

I enjoy the animated and unexpected nature of the interactive items we have gotten in the past …. it is something that almost always opens my wallet

Personally, I feel the themes are incomplete without something that is out of the box and unexpected…. we are so missing that level of creativity

I don't bother to look at the curated classics any more. It's all stuff I can find myself by typing in keywords, like Halloween, ghosts, table, chair, etc. I'm know the new coin items will only be 3 simple things (like throw pillows or rugs), in 3 different colors, and for everything else I'll have to look through the old stuff. I'm still decorating, but eventually I'm going to be all out of ideas on how to use these things yet again.

I can appreciate that attitude but when the houses all look the same inside and there's never anything new it makes one not care so much to play. I haven't bought the new house yet, unless I do and make it a 60s house.

thanks for taking my post in the spirit it was written. appreciate byou not attacking mr personally because of my opinion and it being different than yours. wasn't even suggesting you adopt my attitude toward yo as it is today, just sharing what works for me to keep my interest in playing yo today. appreciate you not taking my opinion personally as an attack on you.

I agree with everything above and would like to add how boring it gets using the same decor over and over. Im greedy with my YoCash and hate spending it on smalls like lamps, candles, etc. The amount of new items per theme is a joke. The amount of those new items that are actually coin is even worse! We get homes without bathrooms, or if we get the bathroom we dont get new decor for it (AA2024 no bathroom decor) Go back and look at the Zygna themes items compared to BVG. :wailing:

Agree with both of you. But even BVG used to do more complete themes years ago than they do now. They've slowed to a halt over the past few years. :sleepy: I'm generally pretty creative with what I have to work with, but I'm getting to the point where I'm beyond tired of using the same things over and over in different combinations. My places are starting to look too much the same.

I've been saying it for a while now, YW is BORING. Even the interactive that comes with a yc house is boring.

There's 50s decor and Halloween items from the YW Halloween a few years ago with the Alien Invasion.

Exactly!! I have no expectations that a new day is coming for YOWorld.. This is what IT IS, and this IS what WE get. I check in every morning to see what comes out at release time. I look.. see curated classics... slots and PDE offers... YC offers.... Yep! We DO get pop ups!! :haha: :phew:
They have nothing to offer us... I do believe they have very few artists around as well. They have to rely on re release's as you say, to fill our new homes. Lots of new folks should be happy with the 'new to me' items, ole time players that already bought what they liked the first time around are yawning and heading off game til the next day's releases, at least thats how im playing the game. Some days.. its GEM just for something to do. I usually get at least 4 of them done each month. Yep... I can try and make the game appear exciting... but... as u say, its a hot pile of meh now...... :haha: :phew:

ok 1. houses looking the same inside
They've been that way since day ONE with grey carpet and the same interior , the Gothic is the same as the Mafia Mansion
the first Pumpkin was the Trailer inside .. and many more
the first big house BVG brought out the Farm House 2015 has a front and a back that's deco'd but inside its 6 square blank plain rooms
They're that way so you can use your imagination .. do you expect the inside rooms to be decorated as well ?

2. As for curated classics there are many players who have returned to the game who missed out on those themes, there are some new players who haven't got those items at all and for example the Tuscan Winery curated classics weren't even in store before they were re-released , so even if you wanted to buy them back in January you couldn't .

3. Meh is what you make it yeah ok so its repeats and stuff you already have but who's on level 500 here , who needs to buy stuff to go up levels ?
If its a great fun theme I'll buy the house and the packs the lot just to level up rooms yeah ok I'll deco a bit, like you know I don't just dump stuff in rooms .
I'm not real worried about empty rooms , I'll get to them eventually
you recon themes are bleh for me most days its pillows in trailers trying to catch up on the levels I missed out on
