refreshing 42 times in 30 minutes is an outcry to designers and programmers. . UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
If this happened to me in college in web design Id be told to go back to high school.. NOT PROFESSIONAL and especially when there is not one word of apology or explanation.

People don't pass the chocolate and honey to get people to do their job ... not happening from me buttercup.. suck it up and do your job proper.

i honestly don't think any insult will make bvg fix this faster. my old granny used to say you can catch more flies with honey than vinegar. just a thought. i'm ecperiencing very little refreshes and i don't know why it's not affecting me very much although i do get your sense of frustration. sorry you'r having that issue.

They never used to happen but now every day. Fix it.

It seems to happen every time I design a new room or outfit...poof! It's gone, and then I have to start all over again. Just another reason why I rarely play anymore.

It's not my internet because it's right around 500 Mb, it's not my equipment, I have a brand new fast computer, also it is happening at my daughter's too and she's 4 miles from me. It also has nothing to do with browser as I have it happen on several browsers. I cleared cache so it's not that either. It's been taking forever to load or freezing and NOT loading at all and I have to keep refreshing to finally get it to load. A lot of the time once I finally get in I can't click on anything or get my avi to move. It's not the ads doing it this time because they are gone.

My account has been behaving badly for the last 2-3 days. No matter what I do I'm always having to prove I'm a real person (this also happens on this forum) and then it still won't load my game. But, if I come back at a random time throughout the day it may let me on. But, as soon as I'm almost done decorating the game will freeze and I can't do anything... I have to reload and then it's right back to not letting me in the game. It has me thinking all I'm doing is wasting time, when I could be doing something more important.

Lol, I didn't submit a ticket about it. I've seen it over and over here and in the past when getting canned answers after submitting a ticket. At least now when we get an answer it's an actual answer to the issue and not a canned response. I've learned to give ALL of the information I can when submitting and to let them know I've already done all of the troubleshooting they'll ask me to do to save back and forth responses.

When a team gets problems like this from players and they sit and do nothing, what good would another ticket do? I did not send a ticket.. pretty sure they got plenty of them.. my little ticket wont get that job done when they have 50 of them already on the wait. let them learn to read a forum.. hear their players and as it is they even play in this game too so, really .. they dont know? hummph.

Here's the news today. I had to prove who I was with facebook to be able to log in to the forum and once again trust a device (my laptop) that I have been using to play Yo for 3 years. I cannot get in the game.

my problems started last night, loading times are huge (like 5 to 10 minutes), then the loaded rooms and avatars are incomplete, layering wonky, everything super laggy.
takes minutes to read msgs and or walk across a room.

turns out firefox no longer supports older versions of OS and i had refused to upgrade my OS all this time (thus firefox was the best browser for me) because so many ppl disliked the later OS versions, and still referred to this old OS as their favorite.

if any of you having troubles are on a mac using an old OS on firefox, could this be your issue?

i might not be around on yw much until i can backup my system and get a new OS.

does anyone know of a browser that works for yw that supports an old macOS? i've tried chrome, firefox and safari, via fb too, no go.

I logged in this morning after multiple disconnects and refreshes yesterday, and this morning the game straight up froze on me when I was trying to click the new stuff icons. I kept getting the "wait" popup. Had to close my browser (Chrome) and start it back up. Beyond irritating.

How old is your Mac OS? And how old is your Mac? Are you able to update to the most recent OS or a more recent one even?

I've found that I have various issues across all browsers. Chrome has generally worked best. Safari has always been awful, and Firefox I haven't used in ages as it never worked great for me. I tried Opera GX for a bit but there was no way to add an ad blocker to it last time I tried. Now that I don't have the side ads, I might try it again. I've stuck with chrome and every other day there's some update. It's exhausting trying to keep up.

But honestly, I don't think it's a matter of browser. It might be computer specs to some degree, but I think for the most part it's on BVG's end and their servers, etc.

I’m slow today; but not disconnecting - but I’m also just in and out, not trying to decorate. - I know my mobile hot spot just is going to be laggy on the weekends; especially a fridge
dec saturday. — The best way to get BVG attention is using your help tab. totally cool you asked us all if we are having issues as well —— I would link the thread if possible so they realize others are in the same boat as you are.

Im simply not techy enough to understand the whys and you have already tried any advice I could give you

LOL let me know if you get those gnats trained; and can i beg an invite to see then perform LOL we could have a gnat circus or even a flea circus LOL —— and if I werent so lazy we could even use those BVG npc’s and create a viking fun fest (but i sold them LOL I did get over a million for them; pieced out in the ah a few at a time lol)

no longer supported by firefox as of the changes that went into place recently. the same types of issues happened to me when i was using chrome and they all of a sudden no longer supported my old OS (several months ago). i am certain for my issues, it is my old OS and browser, and yes I can upgrade to a newer version that is supported so i am looking into that. my computer is too old to upgrade to the latest OS but it won't be necessary.

i'll be not very active in game til i can sort that out.

my computer specs seem fine and i didn't have these particular issues 2 days ago.

i'm not having the disconnection issue too much, though it does happen sometimes after i've only been in game a few minutes so it's not like i've been zzzzing off before it disconnects. not fun.

I think you are correct on that Lisa. I have a brand new computer hubby built for me last weekend. It's faster than the old one. New monitor on the way. Early Christmas present. I have almost a 500 mb internet connection. I have 5 different browsers I can hop back and forth between. It also happens at my daughter's house. I have 3 different devices I use to play the game depending on what I'm doing and which room I'm in. It's not related to device, internet speed or browser or cache. I cleared cache and the same things you described happens to me across all of them. The good news is that the ads, once I'm able to actually get in the game and stay are finally working and no more 3 in 1 ads. It still takes twice as long as they are longer than the last ad company's ads but at least now most of them are working. I still have some that don't load or freeze but I found that if I click on the frozen ones they start running again.
