I've been trying to level up this week, so I've done about 5 trailers and 2 or 3 gothic houses. I have years of inventory I haven't done anything with. At any rate I got a message today saying I had used the 25k yo points I could earn in a week and I could get more on Monday. I had no idea there was a limit.

Yeah, I don't know if this was always the case, but it's been this way for some time now. I think they don't want us to level up quickly so they don't have to add more rewards and chests. Sigh.

This is true and a bummer when you're on the roll in decorating and maxing the quota

Interesting. The last time I was level grinding via room deco was a few months ago and the weekly limit was 50,000 points. What always annoyed me is that nowhere is it displayed how many points you've used/have left for the week.

I'll ask on Discord to see if the weekly limit was reduced.

limit was always 25k points weekly for room levelling ,,amount never changed but its interesting there is no cap for item purchasing so why for decorating?

it has been 25k limit all the times i've ever reached it, i was unaware of it ever going up to 50k

I was doing trailers and then I decided a gothic would be better. It only took 4 gothics to level up! I hate this stupid cap. Now i have to put off decorating (real decorating) until monday.

It's been 25000 per week for years now. It's pretty annoying to hit that limit early in the week when I'm on a roll.

I'd find it hard to not buy a new house when the discount appears, sometimes I'll get Ranchers instead of trailers to level, breaks the boredom

Yes maam. That's why I did 3 trailers per day when I was leveling. It got me right up to the edge of the weekly cap.

When BVG first launched the new game Levels some player's were using bots/automated software to Level up very quickly and that is when BVG put the 25K YoPoints per week cap on the Leveling!

I"m VIP but I was unaware I was getting a perk in house buying. I just thought I always had a discount because sometimes I just dump my new stuff I've accumulated into a room somewhere. So when I finish a house I have a discount on the next one, all the time I guess.
I hoard when things go on sale anyway but usually its all in inventory. I have a couple of years worth to level up with.

Each week, I have always waited for Monday. When Monday finally arrives,, I usually can reach the 25k Cap on the same day, and then wait for Monday again. Annoying indeed.

Yes VIP have a discount all the time and its a bit more ( from memory) than non VIP
you could go buy a dozen gothic houses and just level them up as you finish one do the next , saves the 'buying' step.
My hubby did that with Ranchers, forgot to name them and now he's got no idea which ones are what
