I was expecting new things to be released for the new houses but I only see a rehash once again. Does this mean we will never get new things with new releases and nothing now for Christmas?

There is new Living Room decor in the Furniture Store.

multitudes of snow and ice puddles and xmas trees xmas items , old freebies LOTS of older items
there are loads and loads of xmas items that are available in store that I've used before and I'll use over and over again

I've been playing since 2008, and despite having countless houses filled with items, I still love exploring new treasures during the holidays.

No, it doesn't. That's why many old themes are still available in the store. However, we do enjoy seeing fresh additions and discovering new items during the holiday season!

I think Nita probably was confused thinking the pack items aren't in the store, but they are. And they are new.

As for everything having to be new, no. But like PinkyLola said, it is nice to have more fresh, new items. And how long one's been playing and how much old stuff they have doesn't necessarily matter. I use loads of my old favorites. But we're not getting enough new stuff in general, holidays or otherwise. It depends on your decorating style how much it matters to you, I guess.

I did find some new stuff, thanks. I can't bear to undecorate my older homes to bring that stuff forward to the new homes. If it is a house I don't like so much, I do.
