If you don't like them you could always gift them to your buddies

I wish they wouldn't give free NPC of players from game; I really will never use them. People don't even buy them really, unless you really know them or are friends why would I want an NPC of a person who doesn't even like me, OML. I just gift them to the person, let them enjoy themselves.

I have one in particular that I’m not a big fan of, but I got her from the gem event. I placed her in one of my houses, and she seems cozy and happy there.

and those you can't hardly give them away no one wants em in AH just shows how "popular" they really are
yet a Miss T NPC goes for millions

Hey Jem,

A consideration for your consideration, if you'll allow audient attention for a moment, that every item in game has its place regardless of personal aestetic preference or purpose in use...

In being given freely to everyone, it might be better to simply shelf them until you find a personal use, or........., there is always tapping the well of Yomagination to make something out of an item you wouldn't usually find use for in a type of creative repurposing..

Might be worth considering also, we really do have way more to worry about in developmental direction of the game (or distinct lack there of in both respects) than a few free items that would never be to "everyones" taste, but certainly might be valued by those that can't, won't or just plain don't have the means to financially play but would still like to create, express themselves, entertain, interact, or even just feel they have something to participate in to break solitude, a feeling of compartmentalization socially or just plain boredom...

I'd encourage you (even if always fruitless) to suggest things that the game could use long term & in that keeping it a "viable" platform long term (regardless of changing ownership) or that you would find a positive if you really want change or more items to your personal tastes....

Perhaps an interesting developmental or item consideration that would entertain you or the masses?, anything really other than allow yourself to be so disheartened over a few simple free things that some, by chance, just might cherish for personal or artistic reasons

It's not all NPC's I have the older one that aren't titled as a player.

Trust me if there was one of me we wouldn't hear the end of it, I'm to honestly mouthy I agree the same ones like why? Hey, don't get me wrong I think it's a cute Idea, but come on switch it up will you, lord.

While I dont collect them; sometimes a room just requires more — a party all staged and set up looks horrible without some NPC’s to fill it out

Funny, I figured people that dislike other people typically did rude things to NPC’s they dislike (I expect any day to uncover a room where i’m being burned at the stake lol) LOL — But I dont worry about those that dislike other people. that is their personal issues not mine. I cant think of a single npc I would turn down as a gift. —— I hope everyone that wants a npc is granted a npc — odd isnt, I know my npc’s are worthless - but every time i’ve been selected it was a surprise. I take part in contests never expecting to be selected.

As for the topic of free items; I always look forward to something free that I feel enhances by game play ….it think it’s a nice peek in to our design team and even possible clues of things we might see more of

I actually like getting NPC's as gifts but I do wish they would switch them up a bit. It does get redundant with some of the more, shall we call them "edgy" designers as the only NPC's. Some will come back stating they get picked because they submit them, but seriously, we are talking about a computer game that we know uses AI frequently. It would be more exciting I think if BVG would randomly screenshot various players & turn them into NPC's using AI without having to submit them. Think of how excited players would be if they logged in & surprise, there they are in NPC form. That would also give us more variation. And I agree with the OP, the gifts this month, considering it leads up to Christmas are a little lame.

I love NPCs! I swear, it's like an addiction – gotta have them all. And I always buy the player-designed NPCs, so I get super excited when we get them "free" in gem events! I don't worry about "who" it is, I just like the designs.

Still could give decorated trees, snow people, snow theme outdoor items, frozen lakes, etc etc. None of the items I listed are religious themed. I want items I can actually use.
